Win or lose, the Suns are still gay, and te Blazers are the standard of heterosexuality.

It's a win/win, really.

A couple of weeks ago, the Suns came into the Arena and laid down a first-half asswhooping for the ages. Of course it was close in the end, because Mr ROY said "not in my house, bitch," and proceeeded to make the Defensive Specialist his personal bitch (what NBA 2 can that guy guard?)

Those slow starts seem to have been remedied. LaMarcus will abuse Amare, and Amare (who almost made an attempt at moving his feet on D last time they played... almost) will get every bit of it back at the other end... for a while. He can't guard LA (he can't guard anyone else, either), and he'll end up in foul trouble (not that LA isn't a prolific fouler in his own right).

Shaq will show his true value in the trade -- getting all the bullshit whistles in Stern's Era of Officiating Disaster. Hell, the mob got to one (or more) of them, and nobody fucking noticed... nuff said? And I'm not sure how Bill Spooner survived the mob probe... it's pretty obvious dude has money on the games he refs... even ones not involving my team.

Nash will do his career trademark -- looking spectacular on the fastbreak, and being the most laughable defender in the history of NBA guards... last time out, had it on DVR, and enjoyed some laughs replaying his "defense" where he guards nobody and waves his arms around at the top of the lane like a madman... funny shit). The Blazers have amuch better coach (even though D'Anjokey is of the Blazer family... sorry, bro, you suck), and will exploit Phoenix' indifference to P&R defense (which is why they have no chance at winning with their current incarnation... stepping to Duncan and Parker with ZERO P&R defense is a good idea... NOT).

Raja Bell will continue to win the hearts of the single female fans, and continue to get posterized by every decent 2 in the league. Not sure how that guy got his rep as a defender, but he fucking sucks... but hey, on the upside, at least he can't score. When "defensive specialist" Bruce Bowen guards someone, after the game they bitch about what a miserable night they had at his hands. When "defensive specialist" Raja Bell guards someone, after the game they get their own full segment on SportsCenter.

Blazers squeak out a close one...

112-108

Can't argue with you.......I had Portland + the points last time; naturally they lost by 1/2 point. I'm sure PHX wins by 3 or less or loses outright...
