I'm having an old school moment all of a sudden. Nobody will remember this, but in like 2002, I promoted a "Friday Night Tard Fight." It was a 4-way round-robbin between Netboy Reid, Ripper, nwstorm and Raider Fan. Fuck. It was what internet dreams were made of. Once the pairings are set in each round, a thread shall be created for you and your opponent. You and your opponent will have 48 hours to smack each other silly, free of any other posters. NO ONE ELSE will be allowed to post in smackoff battle threads other than the two participants.

Sorry I wasn't more productive. 48 hours seems like a lot--- it ain't. I'm out for the evening. Thanks to the folks for putting this together and a congrats to Mgo in advance should the judges like him better'n me.

A couple notes on other tilts:

-- Never underestimate any smacker. I'm not saying anything about who is winning or not elsewhere but there are a couple of posters who are doing stuff contrary to conventional perception of their talents.
