They should at least have an open bar. If it were my funeral I would just die of embarrassment.

I have no problems with having a BBQ, but BYOB has got to be the funniest/strangest thing to put in an obit.

Maybe it's supposed to mean Bring Your Own Body.

Bonnie's only got one and she doesn't want to share.

It's Alabama, setting the standard in stupid every year.

Should have just went with "Beloved Cunt" and be done with it.

The BYOB thing is a fun twist in an obit. So, did David Earl hang out with a bunch of leeches or was he just a genial host that insisted that no one bring drinks if they were at his house?

When we have people over, I would much rather them bring food than drinks because I’m good with going for beer and wine or making drinks, but can’t think of anything much past nachos or a jar of olives to save my life for a party (and don’t even ask about cream cheese disasters that I thought were a fix on this)…so I tell people to bring food and we supply drinks. I’m thinking David Earl was similar, and his beloved survivors are food people, so they are letting it be known that they will have a BBQ and I’m sure that involves all the trimmings. But since David Earl is in the ground now…all the old buds are going to have to BYOB.
