For anyone wondering about next week with the All-Star break coming up...Week 17 will be for the games on next Tuesday, the 29th...the first day of action after the break. In prior years, I chose to go with the day before the break...just wanted to try it this way. Week 18 (February 2) and the subsequent weeks will be the usual Saturday games. I'll be posting Week 17 and 18 around the middle of this week.

We have only 7 more weeks left in the regular season. Due to the small number of participants...our playoffs will only include the last four weeks of the regular season and not the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The top 8 from the regular season will advance to the playoffs with the #1 seed receiving a bye to the semifinals. The first round will include the games for March 15. The top 3 scores advance to the semifinals and will face the #1 seed. This will take place on March 22.

The top 2 scores advance to the finals and those two competitors will pick winners for the final two Saturdays of the regular season...March 29 and April 5. The winner will "receive" the Summers Memorial Trophy.

This weekend, I promise to get the results caught up. I greatly appreciate everyone's patience and those who continue to play. I'm working crazy hours at work including weekends but it looks like I might have a break in the madness this weekend. I will get the results posted from these last several weeks. There is only two more weeks left in our regular season after this week so it's definitely of utter importance that I get caught up. Next season, I'm going to go look into some ways to make this process easier on myself and more convenient for all of you.
