In case you were wondering...

The reason the Blazers are now dominating the Meatgrinder Conference, and other teams aren't...
Is because we have Brandon Roy, and they don't.
Quite simple, really.
But look on the bright side, McHale -- at least you pocketed a whole extra one million dollars. I mean, in today's scale-of-NBA-economy, a million is a lot of money, and is well worth trading away a franchise player. And I'm sure a pairing of Garnett and Roy would have sucked... **snicker**.
And Sebastian Telfair was obviously better than ROY(sup Ainge). Two different teams traded Him away on draft day... priceless. Whereas Pretty In Pink Pritchard (nevermind -- it's a goofy reference) got up on draft day, and said "I want that guy, and that guy" ... then made it so. The rest is soon to be history.
Which brings me to my next point -- there's some mighty dumb ownership these days. There's two GMs that are probably less qualified than anyone reading this forum, yet they keep their jobs. Ponderous. I realize Kevin McHale walks on water in Minnesota, but damn, the guy is freaking clueless. He even managed to make Danny Ainge look like a genius -- no easy task.
And Isiah?
Holy smokes, it's brutal to watch. And dude doesn't even care anymore, yet keeps his jobs.
He traded for Zach The Black Hole, and is now disappointed he doesn't put out more effort on the defensive end? While Isiah may be an archenemy of Blazerfan, at least he's made up a little bit for his transgressions by providing us with some gut-busting laughter. Channing Frye has played more defense in 28 games than StatsBo did in his entire Blazer career.
There's some GMs and coaches out there that are absolutely clowning. And for once after all these years, none of the guilty parties are associated woth the Trailblazers.
It's good to be back, Association. Thanks for your patience while we took a few years off.
Fear the Pinwheel.
Oh, and BTW-there's a couple of serious studs coming out of the stable next season... like this team needs any more help.
Minnesota tomorrow night... gee, I wonder if the streak will go to 12? Then after Minn, it's Philly, who is owed an asskicking after the last meeting (in which the Zers blew a 25 point lead, in those dark times of searching for that first road win). After Iggy and the Sixers, it's Minnesota again.
Make your time, bitches.
See you in the Finals, Boston (but hopefully Detroit -- paybacks are a bitch).
