I just wish Leaf had been miced. You know he had to be screaming "Leave me alone! Quit talking to me!" to some reporter after the game. It's a family tradition.Mikey wrote:Lamest 2 minute drill I've ever seen.

Paging SEASON OVER shit troll...
As much as I'd like to yuck it up and BWA-HAHA at Duck fans expense, this result makes me sad in a small way. Talking shit with and against Dins over his beloved PAC 10 Quacks vs. the Big XII is sorta' a guilty pleasure that's now been taken away.
Who will step up to fill that cavernous void? SEC fan? Gimme a break.
QQMF has now turned into QQMA.

Good question.
Maybe because Cryin is a (successful) coach?
But seeing a Cougin' It in Duck gear was a baaaaaaad omen... especially that Coug It.
And Coug It they did.

Nah, better to let a bunch of bloodsucking bowl honks make a mess of things yet again.

BUT, BUT, BUT that would mean COMPROMISING the integrity of the regular season! every game is a playoff?BSmack wrote:Nah, better to let a bunch of bloodsucking bowl honks make a mess of things yet again.
Every year I have the same hopes for all college sports in the DC/MD/VA area.
I always hope they all start, progress and finish really badly. Less media attention gets focused on the meaningless nonentities 'round here that way.
The problem is the media likes to seize upon even the least little thing and run with it ad nauseam.
This year kinda sucked because the naval academy made waves ( ) like they done gone and won the Super Bowl (quite a feat for a college team, eh?). Usually that organization is nice and quiet. But of course all that happened was they beat some other college team and it was a regular season game. There's teh funnay all over the place because now there's a new GENIUS coach in the area (I still don't know his name) who brought Navy into the forefront of national college football prominence because his team beat Notre Dame. I had no idea that was a big deal; what, ND never loses or something? Are they the Patriots of the college game?
Fukk this. Hey Terry in Crapchester, are you ND alums behind on your payments to the players or something? Your players not motivated or the like? C'mon mang, y'all gotta do whatever it takes to make sure the "Navy" team never pulls some shit like that again.
Thanks,
velocet

They did go into the Horseshoe and beat down Ohio State. They are 4-1 against top 25 teams. What has Texas done this year besides go 1-1 against top 25 teams and get a lot of love in the polls because they are Texas?SunCoastSooner wrote:Illinois is better than Texas?Cuda wrote:Quality wins

Have you watched any college football this season? Miami may be bad but Ole Miss could possibly be the WORST team in any BCS conference.BSmack wrote:They did go into the Horseshoe and beat down Ohio State. They are 4-1 against top 25 teams. - Throw the history of Illinois and Texas football out the window for a moment, and put THESE two teams on the gridiron right now and that game is basically a pick'em. On a neutral field, I'd take the Illini. It's a solid football team that has beaten quality teams and has quite a few offensive weapons.
- No talk of the BCS's worst team can be credible unless Minnesota is mentioned. They might be worse than ND.
Wait...naaaaaaah.
If Lou Holtz gives the Irish a pre-game pep talk, then I say ND only loses by 10 to Duke.

SEC meatgrinder, huh?
Enjoy Auburn stomping a mudhole in your ass for the zillionth straight year.
Or maybe not. They're in your league...so for once, Alabama has a real shot at winning.
The sad thing is, they may actually let him do that horseshit, for another year.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:If Lou Holtz gives the Irish a pre-game pep talk, then I say ND only loses by 10 to Duke.
Actually, come to think of it, it is the most unintentional funniest shit on TV, this side of local news, during sweeps month.
Check out the music, in this "news" report, by Burt Mummolo. (yep, that's his real name)
When the link comes up, click on the video. Most unintentional (from their perspective) funniest local TV news story, ever.
Best lines:
Mr. Foooox!
His silence, STILL intact.
And, from the dumbass anchor, no doubt trying to suck either Burt's or her GM's dick:
GREAT story. Thanks Burt.

I doubt that you watched the game, Sam. And I never said that Wisconsin dominated. Wisconsin-Minnesota is a rivalry game, and Minnesota probably played their best game of the year. But Wisconsin was never in imminent danger of losing the game.

Sam, take a look at the people who've declared themselves CFB "experts" in the last few weeks.
Not think back, and reflect on the general intelligence level those same posters have displayed in your time on these boards.
Seeing a theme?
Do you still need to ask how Bama losing gives them BODE over you?
It's much like Oregon losing give Big12Fan-come-lately BODE, and obviously means Kansas is the GREATEST CORN FED STUDS EVER!!!!
Tell me you knew? The double-transitive theory of BODE is strong in Midwesterners who aren't doing a very good job trying to hide the fact they've never actually watched college fgootball before now.

That's odd -- the paid professionals seem to disagree with you... why is that?
A) You know somethoing they don't
B) You speak of things you don't know about?
Must be that SoS ranking of 101 out of 119 that makes them so good.
