Went to the movies a couple of times this week

And managed to see not one but two great films
The first on the list was Bride & prejudice
A Bollywood take on the Jane Austen Classic
Full of colour music & movement not to mention a lot of laughs
The director is the same one who did Bend it like Beckham & there is enough eye candy with both the male & female leads to make everyone happy
Most of the film is in English with a few of the songs having subtitles
It's a totally feel good piece of fluff with no sex, realistic violence or nudity so it's fun for the whole family & the Guys in the audience seemed to enjoy the film as much as the girls I know my other half was killing himself laughing along side me.
The second film which we saw last night was House of Flying daggers
If any of you have seen Crouching tigerhidden dragon orHero you will also love this film
Same director as Hero & a few of the same cast, no Jet Li but the male leads IMO were better actors anyway
One of the most beautifully filmed Movies I've seen, even better visually than Hero & the martial arts acrobatics were amazing the Echo game sequence is jawdropping in both it choregraphy & beauty
The storyline is a little thin but who cares the Beauty before you onscreen coupled with the great action leaves you feeling satisfied thgat you got your value for money
You must see this film on the big screen to appreciate it
