Grudging Racks for Jeffy

Post by War Wagon »

Nice touch flying the #3 flag on your 76th victory lap, nancyboy. Like that's going to get you one ounce of respect from Earnhardt nation. Ok, well it didn't exactly hurt, but we all see thru that phony ploy to gain acceptance from real NASCAR fans. Fuck off with that noise. You could win 176 races, and you'd still never be half the man that Dale was.

Zero Racks for having your fugly ass wife in victory lane prominantly showing off how preggers she is. We know that you didn't knock that bitch up yourself, ok? You don't have the equipment. Can you say "sperm bank"?

Oh, and nice race you sonofabitch that can drive the wheels off a racecar. I still despise you and all of your faggotty ass rainbow warrior clad "fans", but even the most diehard of ironheads have to give credit where it's due. Fucker.

Jeff Gordon is the Jack Nicklaus to Dale Sr.'s Arnold Palmer. And just like it took Arnie's fans 15 years to appreciate the greatness that was Nicklaus, slowly the Earnhardt fans are just going to have to accept that Jeff Gordon is the greatest racer of the modern age of NASCAR.

Earnhardt fans actually believe a Chevy race car is made by Chevy and etc. for the other manufacturers. They are that dumb.

Hmm. Not a bad analogy, but I don't think many Earnhardt fans will ever grow to respect Jeffy like Arnold Palmers fans respected Nicklaus.

I've recognized for 10 years that Gordon is a great driver. He races clean, and always says the right things on and off the track. The reason us old school #3 fans never took to Gordon is that he didn't have to pay his dues like most others who got to that level. He was an instant success, and just too much of a pretty boy. Sure there's a level of envy and jealousy there, and I readily admit that. #3 fans recognized him as a looming threat to The Intimidators legacy, rightly so, and hated him for such temerity.

Perhaps if Dale hadn't met such an untimely and unfortunate demise, we'd feel different by now as he'd be comfortably retired and mentoring Jr. We've never gotten over that shock, and probably never will. I don't know. I DO know that six years later, I can't drive from point A to point B anywhere and not see #3 logos plastered over every other pick-up truck. I still see people wearing his hats and T-shirts every day. We WILL not forget the man in black, and won't let anyone else forget him either.

As for Jeffy, yeah... great driver, classy competitor, blah, blah, blah... but if he got ran over by a train tomorrow he'd be virtually forgotten about in a few weeks.

Interesting read. Junior gets it.......
Earnhardt calls Gordon tribute classy By JENNA FRYER, AP Auto Racing Writer
17 minutes ago

CONCORD, N.C. - Dale Earnhardt Jr. doesn't understand the backlash over Jeff Gordon's decision to fly a No. 3 flag after tying the late Dale Earnhardt on NASCAR's career victories list.

Gordon took the flag on his victory lap following win No. 76 on Saturday night at Phoenix International Raceway. His car was pelted with beer cans during the tribute, and fans have been critical of the display in the days since.

But Junior, who congratulated Gordon in Victory Lane, called the tribute to his father a classy move.

"I don't know how in the world you could take that the wrong way," Earnhardt Jr. said Tuesday during an appearance at Lowe's Motor Speedway. "That's what's bothering me so bad. Jeff can't win for losing.

"He was trying to make a good gesture. That's all that was. I don't think anybody in the world could find anything wrong with what he did. That's a shame he didn't get all the credit he deserved for it."

Gordon's crew decided on the tribute last summer when the driver reached win No. 75. The team had carried the No. 3 flag in its truck ever since.

Aaron Kuehn, a crewman on Gordon's team, approached Junior and his sister at a party last year to get their approval. Earnhardt had forgotten the request until reminded Tuesday.

Earnhardt said he thought his father would have appreciated the moment, and the time the team had to carry the flag before using it.

"That flag rode around in that truck for several months — which my dad would get a real kick about that," he said.

"I don't understand the disrespect — what's the angle there? When you win a race, it's all about you at that moment. You won, you're happy, you're excited, you're the best of the best.

"And (Gordon) decided to split that down the middle, 50/50, and give my father some respect and take half of his moment and give it to my dad. I thought that was really classy."

Earnhardt took particular issue with fans who threw beers cans onto the track. It's grown increasingly common. And a few years ago it created a dangerous situation at Talladega Superspeedway, where fans showered the track with cans after Gordon beat Earnhardt under caution.

As the Nextel Cup Series heads to Talladega this weekend, Earnhardt acknowledged Gordon could see more animosity — and beer cans — if Gordon wins to break a tie with Dale Earnhardt.

"I'd consider it nasty," he said. "I don't feel comfortable with beer cans flying on the racetrack at any point in time. You see a lot of them are full, half full, hitting people 'cause they're not making it over the fence, knocking people in the back of the head.

"I've seen that happen on occasion. It's a dangerous business. I don't think it's cool. It ain't cool at all."

Earnhardt said it's a misconception that his father and Gordon were bitter rivals, saying the two were friends who partnered together in several business ventures.

And when Gordon was breaking into the sport, it was the elder Earnhardt who helped him understand the etiquette of big-time racing.

"I never remember a rivalry. ... I actually never remember any problems," Rick Hendrick, Gordon's car owner, said. "I think there was a lot of respect there. I think when you've got two popular drivers, different fan base, I think a lot of times the fans create the rivalry.

"I think in that case it was just the Earnhardt fans didn't want to see Jeff win. And Jeff fans against Earnhardt."

They threw beer cans at Phoenix? Rack those desert rednecks. I guess Jeffy will have to win #77 in Cali if he doesn't want to get pelted with Budweisers. Same scenario for Yimmah Yohnson. NASCAR fans hate those fucks, and always will. No reason need be given. It just IS.

They would've thrown beer cans regardless of Jeffy waving the #3 flag, so it's not about that.

Hey, I thought it was a classy move myself, and I can hate on Gordon with the best of them. At the end of the day, folks just need to understand the emotional attachment Earnhardt fans had with The Man.

Jr. doesn't get shit and should stfu. His fans are his daddies fans, plain and simple. Without daddy, he'd be working at Jiffy Lube.

I don't need to get shit. If you are throwing shit on the track you are a fucking LOSER. And if you think for one second that throwing shit on the track is even remotely rackable, then YOU are a fucking loser as well.

Like I said before, Gordon is Nicklaus to Sr.'s Palmer. And like it or not, as the worms continue to nibble on Dale Sr, Gordon is going to continue to chip away at the NASCAR record book. You don't have to like it, but when Gordon wins at your track (and he will) how about you keep your Bud Light to yourself and STFU.

A lot of NASCAR fans hate on Jeffie cause he’s not a real neck like they are (‘sup Whitey). I’m not a big fan, but dude has serious driving skills. And I’m sure he’s a big hero to all the short people.

Throwing cans of beer that are still half-full is stupid, though. Oh wait, it’s Bud Light? Never mind.

Then explain why every time I pull into a truckstop, mini-mart, department store or sports memorabilia place, I ALWAYS see 24 merchandise? Who the fuck is buying all that merchandise? Confused Indy Car fans?

Think long and hard before you answer Dave.

You see the merchandize on the shelf, because nobody is buying it. The only people who buy Gordon and Johson gear do it online, because they're too ashamed to do it in person.

Kinda' like when you purchase gay porn.

Nice try Wags. So I guess the same logic would apply to all the Earnhardt merchandise I see on the shelves?

Sorry bro, but retailers are not in the business of giving away shelf space. The product is there because it sells.

I don’t care for Gordon at all, but he has suck-seeded at every level (Go-karts, Midgets, Silver Crown, Busch, etc.) without any help from Hendrick until he hit Winston Cup.

Another neck noted.

True, and yes, I proudly consider myself a redneck, so thanks for the compliment Goobs.

But I'll tell you what I really hate about Jeffy. When that bitch is in Victory Lane, she squeals like a girl on her 10th birthday party at the roller skating rink opening presents.

Bitch? Act like you've been there before, ok? That's why I normally turn off the TV when she wins. I can't stand watching and listening to the cunt carry on.

I remember one time a few years back when Ricky Rudd won a race for like the first time in 250 starts. Dude gets out of the car and you wouldn't have even known he'd won, that's how subdued he was.

Give me more Ricky Rudd's and less Jeffy Gordon's, please.

Fuck Jeff Gordon

He started racing quarter midgets at age five.

At age nine, he won 46 of the 50 events he entered.

He won the USAC Midget title at age 19. (Tony Stewart still races Midgets from time to time).

He won the USAC Silver Crown at age 20, the youngest champion ever.

He set a NASCAR Busch record with 11 poles in one season (commence with the cock-sucking jokes).

His Winston Cup/Nextel record speaks for itself.

Like I said, he’s never been one of my favorites, although that may change considering his effect on Melty Neck Wagon. No question whatsoever that he is one of the most skilled drivers on the circuit.

They'll be back next year and if either Gordon or Johnson win, they'll bombard the track again. All the pundits clucking their disapproval and wagging their finger expecting them to stop can just kiss their redneck asses, 'cause it ain't happening.

Pretty cool how when Jr. briefly took the lead, the crowd noise drowned out the car engines.

Gordon got lucky with that 2nd to last caution, else Jr wins that race. He was in 2nd at the time with like 4 laps left and poised to pass McMurray and drive off into the Talledega sunset.

Them's the breaks. At least Jr still managed a decent finish, unlike Stewart

It would sure help if you knew what the fuck you were talking about. At the time of the 2nd to last caution, Gordon was in the lead, followed by McMurray, Johnson and Busch.

They can't help it that they hate Gordon and Johnson with a passion. Not saying that I condone throwing beers on the track, but I understand. Save the crocodile tears. These guys are driving around at 190 mph. I doubt a few Bud Lite missiles are going to phase them much. Besides, Gordon actually egged them on, attempting pathetic burn-outs right in their face. If he doesn't want to get pelted, then get the fuck off the track. He seems to revel in it, so he got what he wanted.

Doesn't everyone have some sort of victory celebration, most of which involve burning rubber near the start/finish line? I wouldn't say he was rubbing anything in the faces of the fans.

Anyone who wins a race deserves a chance to revel in their success. The fact of the matter is that Gordon is one of a select few drivers that have a chance to win on any type of track that NEXTEL CUP drives on. You can't say the same for the #8 car.

Jesus fuckin Christ. Is it asking too much for a clue?

BTW: When's the last time a guy who won DIDN'T do a few burnouts? I don't care if you don't "condone" thowing shit on the track or not. If you even so much as claim to "understand" those idiots, you're a fucking moron.

Completely.

How did any of that link support the claim that Jr. wasn't in 2nd with 4 laps to go at lap 184 as I asserted?

Hint: It didn't. This isn't the spin zone, brah.

Matt Kenseth. It happens. Point being, Jaffy egged them on when he knew what was going to happen. Any more stupid questions?

Move the goalposts much? Let's go back to the tape.
Little Whiny Bitch Ass Dale Fan War Wagon wrote:Gordon got lucky with that 2nd to last caution, else Jr wins that race. He was in 2nd at the time with like 4 laps left and poised to pass McMurray and drive off into the Talledega sunset.
The 2nd to last caution happened on lap 185. That Dale Jr. had faded out of the top 5 by then pretty much blows your claim that Dale was ready to "drive off into the Talledega sunset" straight to hell. That caution had NOTHING to do with Dale Jr's end of race fade. Dale just didn't have the car. Yet again.

No shit. If this were the spin zone there would be even more people laughing at you.

So if Dale Jr. wins Watkins Glen or Sonoma (fat fucking chance that will happen, but let's just say for the sake of argument), it's OK for Gordon fans to throw shit at him if he does a burnout? You know, because he is in Gordon country and should just bow his head and apologize for winning. :meds:

It's amazing the hate you have for the guy. He is by no means one of my favorite drivers, but the bottom line is that he is one of the best drivers of all time.
