If he's the old Bert, sans the cheap shots, the Wings may have made the best deal at the deadline. Calder has been an excellent pick up as well. Playing on a line with Hudler and Lang, he's got 2 goals and 8 assists and a +7 in 10 games with the Wings. He was a -31 with the Flyers...huge difference moving to a contending team.
The team is slowly getting guys back from injury. Got Franzen back on Tuesday...still missing Zetterberg and Cleary. One point back of Nashville with a game in hand and the final head-to-head in Music City next week...the Central Division and the top spot in the conference is still very much up for grabs. It's amazing this team has done as well as it has with guys like Zetterberg out of the lineup. The hope is to have all of their regulars back before the playoffs. Zetterberg's back has been touch-and-go for a while.
