Brad Daugherty? WTF does a basketball player know about racing?

Quite a bit, from the sound of him. I don't know what his racing background is, but he obviously has some.

Having the lower ticker with Taco Bell Tech vs McDonalds State scores is annoying as hell.

if i remember right... he used to co-own a busch team and then a ncts team in the 90's that had robert pressley as a driver. not sure when he got out...

i do remember him saying he wore 43 in the NBA because of Richard Petty...

The story was that Brad met the King when he was in his youth. Richard Petty made such an impact upon Brad that he wore the #43 jersey because of his time with Richard.

Speaking of ESPN, I'm tickled to death that they've bought back into NASCAR along with ABC. I first became a diehard racing and #3 fan watching their broadcasts in the late 80's early 90's.

Now that they're back, we're seeing much more in depth coverage. That doesn't suck.
