The Little E fans might want to get some more of these.

Excellent race except for the long caution laps.

Too bad Waltrip's engine died on him. His car was a little bit better than Tony's until it obviously blew up, and Jeff's was slightly better than Mike's.

Looks to me more like #8 was hugely amused by it all. I guess his fans had a great time and will be drinking their beers instead of throwing them.

1. The Dale fans are happy.
2. The Kurt fan is happy. :P
3. And the Jeff fans are all totally giddy and will be opening another case of Zima.

Only among the Tony fans is there hatred and bitterness.

I too thought that was kind of a selfish move by Lil E to jump out there on Tony, and get in front of him. Didn't the announcer JUST tell us all that Stewert actually HELPED Lil E win Daytona last year!? So, when people say that Tony is mad, he SHOULD be mad at JR. Because that opened up the window for Jeff, and even the 48 was then allowed to bump draft and block a bit.

Nice job E. Your selfishness just cost you. Or Tony, anyway.

Backstabber.

Gotta' agree.

Jr. should have stayed glued to Tony's bumper until the last lap and then made the pass. Those two hooked up together on the bottom would've been unpassable.

I couldn't believe when he pulled out and around, but considering that his car was dogshit all day, I was just glad he got in the mix at the end.

That was actually a pretty boring Daytona 500 with very few lead changes until the final 20 laps, and then it got edge of your seat exciting.

Tony was none too happy with JJ blocking those last two laps.

Looks like we have a new feud to look forward to.

And it looks like we have some new ALLIANCES to look forward too, also.

Rousch and Hendrick.

Busch helping Gordon.
Finally, some help putting the DEI fags
back into their rightful spots.

In the end, who gives a fuck? Did Stewart think the other drivers were just going to let him lead a parade to the finish? He obviously didn't have a plan for what to do if he lost the lead on a restart and he paid for it. And then he did the usual Tony Stewart chickenshit move after the race.

Hey guys. Just got back from the race. A few notes:

• I don't know why there were 100 cautions today. It left us all anxious and waiting for the race to get going! Highly annoying.

• I wanted good things to happen for Bobby Labonte and when his engine blew, I almost cried. I felt a sadness when I met the eyes of other Labonte fans. I still wore my 18 shirt with pride.

• I'm bummed that Jr. screwed up his and Tony Stewart's chance of winning, and was hoping for one of them to win today.

• The end of the race was very exciting.

• Screw Gordon and his fans. They are all idiots. (At least at the race they were. Highly annoying and their clothes are too damn colorful with their stupid rainbow flames [gay]).

• I listened to that radio thingie with the heaphones today for the first time. I heard Jr. talking to his crew chief. He uses the f-word a lot!

• I took lots of redneck pics. I'll post them later.

• Overall I had a GREAT time today! This was my second race in Daytona and I will definitely be going back for more! Pepsi 400, anyone?

WAR being a redneck for a day. It's just good ol' fashioned FUN. :)

Did you use the headphones scanner while there? I was able to watch it along with the InCar deal with Comcast. After Waltrip went out I switched over to Tony and you could hear him cuss once he got dropped back and then see him cranking his steering wheel into JJ's car a few times toward the end.

I watched all 4 races and was very entertained.

Yeah that's what it's called...a scanner. Duh. :(

My brother used it the whole race, but he went to get food at one point and I stole it and listened. It was kewl.

That's cool. I've never been to a race but was told to rent a scanner if I ever go. Looks like Waltrip is on his last year with DEI and I wanted to see him race a restrictor plate race. Jeff in Turn 3 from TNW took some cool pictures at last year's Brickyard 400 for me.

Well, sounds like you had a fun time.

Yeah...he sent me some from the Brickyard 400 the year #3 won it, in '95 I think.

I just heard DW and the other guys briefly mentioning that this is Michael's last year with DEI and they didn't elaborate.

When's the last time Jeff posted anywhere? There is a Jeff 2005 poster here and I was wondering if it was him.

He told me not to post any of his pictures as someone fucked him over a few years ago. He sent some Harvick pics also. Seeing that Goodwrench Chevy up close was cool to see.

Dunno, but I got a rather lengthy PM from him a few months back at Smackboard detailing what he'd been up to lately.

He's one of the few #24 fans I can stomach.

Jesus H...

Well after calming down here's my take... If E stays behind Tony that race is over and Tony wins. But Jr. got greedy. Anybody remember durring the race when Jr was on the Radio and said "This race will be won from the top, remember that!!"

Guess he was wrong.....

Im sure Tony and Little E will have a few words this evening over loyalty....

After all if it wasn't for Tony, Jr. would have finished next to last in the 04 Race

Now this little thing with Tony and the Gordon Lick Dicker Johnson.... That was a racing deal.... Johnson was instructed to Block the 20 car at all costs... Tony was skillfull enough to get around, but when your pulling a move like that at 190mph anything can happen.... Only skill kept that from being a 20 car pile up at the end of the race...

Great Race... Looking forward to Fontucky!!

I don't see how Jr. was "greedy", But maybe I'm missing something....

Tony Stewarts problem is that he loses his cool way too easily. What was with the crashing into JJ like that?

Get around what?

Johnson 5th
Stewart 7th

I guess you meant to say JJ was skillful enough to block legally and help Hendrick, once again, win another restrictor plate race.

C'mon, Harsh. Jr. could not have foreseen that last caution. He did what he thought he needed to do to win the race, not help someone else win it. If that last caution had not come out, do you really think there wasn't a chance that he and Tony get back around Gordon since everyone was at full speed? Green, white, checker at Daytona is ineffectual. It takes that long to get back up to speed.

I am a Tony fan, but there was no reason for him losing his cool after crossing the finish line. JJ did his job.

I was at the race yesterday too. Sat in the Allison Tower on the backstrech. Here are my few notes for those who give a fuck.

#1 don't take the tram/bus after the race, walk off those beers!

#2 Necks do love to drink, they get in at like 11am, race goes off at 2pm, ends at like 5:30pm, and they tumble down the stairs laughing. I must have seen 4 of those. 1 guy at the truck race went down hard on the steel chairs near the tri-oval, he fell so hard I actually didn't laugh.

#3 Love listening to Busch on the scanner, he thought he was ahead of 48 when the caution came out. and I quote "THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT" he screamed after the last caution. also he had to piss like a race horse the last 50 laps

#4 Little disappointed on Kyle Busch's first Daytona, he got collected up in that first wreck.

#5 Nothing like turning around after the race and seeing 90% of the fans in SilverSpoon gear all pissed off at the Fag fans who are taunting them. It's definitely not football, you do that in Oakland/Philly/New England, you die. I didn't see 1 fight there.

#6 Good to see Kurt do well, I was hoping he'd spin the fag on the first lap they got together, after the green white checker. I was even screaming spin him.

#7 Late starts suck, I know they want the left coasters to watch, but if your a fan you'd get up earlier. Shit next week they are in Fontana, will they start it earlier so we can watch it at 1?

#8 you get no love on the back strech, winners don't go back and show off, we don't see the beach old men, only see what they throw on the jumbo thron.

#9 I want to come back next year. We'll see.

Disagree.

Jr. prolly wins. He showed he had the horses to get by him. He should have waited another lap or two.

One thing for sure, though. If Jr. had stayed behind Tony, Babs wouldn't have ejaculated into his underoos.
But Jr. got greedy.
Agreed. Sortof. I prefer to term it as impatience.

But can you blame him? After scuffling all day, he suddenly sees the chance to take the lead, and he fucking took it.
Im sure Tony and Little E will have a few words this evening over loyalty....
Wrong.

Unless they're teammates, it is and should be every man for himself out there.

Jr. and Tony are friends, and run well together on the track, but when/if it's the final laps of the race, especially the Daytona 500, loyalty be damned.
After all if it wasn't for Tony, Jr. would have finished next to last in the 04
Wha... :?
Great Race... Looking forward to Fontucky!!
Agreed.

Good thread as well.

Rack our little slice of Neckcar heaven.

Oh, and I don't want this to become a habit, but rack rozy as well.
