I honestly thought Brooks was already in the Hall...maybe I'm thinking of the American Hockey HOF.

A tip of the cap to an old and bitter rival...Patrick Roy. He made that rivalry with Wings. I just love how things came full circle with him and the Wings. He gets lit up that night in Montreal and wants out. He ends up in Denver and thwarts the Wings from winning the title. He's a constant thorn in their side for a handful of years. The final chapter of the rivalry ends with him getting ran from Game 7 of the Western Finals. RACK St. Patrick on an amazing career for helping make the mid to late 90s a lot of fun. No rivalry today compares to Wings-Avs at its peak.

Forget about on the ice Roy should get in for the "I don't hear what Jeremy Roenick says because I have my 2 Stanley cup rings plugging my ears" line is one of the best ever.

Herb was in the USHOF years ago, probably should have been in sooner.

Nice to see another ex King in the hall, even one that played for the Kings only a short time, Duff was a good scorer and character player to have on your team.

As for Patty Roy, what hasn't been said, he took an average Habs team in 93 to the Cup. 550 wins, 4 Cups, etc.

Anderson got stiffed once again as did Cicorelli.

Doug Gilmour was on the ballot for the first time and should have been given some consideration.

Nice to see Dick Duff finally take his rightful place in the HOF.

Nice.

I for one will not give a flying fuck if that guy never gets in.

With the number of players who retired last year because of the lockout becoming eligible..
The only way I see him getting in is if it's with Messier when his name comes up or 20 years from now when everyone has forgotten about his off ice conduct as being a dead beat parent.
