Top 1000 HS in America

My HS came in at #21. Surprised to see so many Fl schools on there.

Well this just proves it.

Not ONE Las Vegas based high school made the list!

Does this surprise you? Not I. I'm as dumb as a stone and seeing that list just confirms my beliefs that education in Las Vegas is a disaster.

You have something that the other schools don't have...

... the ability to party on a truly professional scale.

Now isn't that the true messure of a truly great high school education?

Just take a look at Sissyroo, and tell me I'm wrong...

I'm not surprised, except maybe to the extent it wasn't including special schools.

obviously a defective list. Ct has the highest teacher salaries, which of course means they have the bestest teachers.

Don't it?

1st Ct high school to ring in was farmington, somewhere around 280. The preponderance of fla and tx schools makes me think they somehow shape their curriculum to appear better in these lists.

I wanna see a different rating. Take each school's 1995 graduating class and rate according to things like bachelor/masters degrees and income levels.

Funny, I didn't see Shermer High School (Shermer, Illinois) on there anywhere.

You missed my quote from the link. This list is for schools that succeed in teaching life skills to virtual retards.

Hey Adel Your facts may be techinically correct but not actualy. The FCAT is one of the toughest equavilency tests in the nation. For whatever it is worth my wife tells me that the Math portion is shockingly difficult, seeing as though she tutors a lot of these kids in her internships/practicoms I tend to trust her.

CW 8)

Y2K and kevnic's school is all up on that bitch also. Bullard High. Also, hot chicks go there and to CW.

My school? You've all seen what it's produced so it gets no play for good reason. However, Tom Flores has our stadium named after him and we Mexican and Anglo's that played together were Raider Fans to the extreme. Two of our teammates have been killed over the years so the draft is looking for new anger.

Oh, and Edison High in Fresno listed on there is actually Edison Computech and not Edison High School. Schvoog High is more like it. Edison's coaches are the coolest mofo's though. Tim McDonald is now seeing what a bunch of turds he took over as he became the head football coach at Edison. He is like, "These kids are a bunch of assholes." Rack that dude!

Jsc810 wrote:Does this list include private schools or is it just public schools?

If it includes both private and public schools, then it simply is not accurate because it does not include Phillips Exeter Academy and Phillips Andover in the top 10. No, I didn't go to either of those schools.
The list isn't even for "Best Schools". The thing says "schools doing best at helping average students" (i.e. retards).
