I'm so fooking tired right now. I had to hit the Luth room just now to have a few fingers of Johnny Walker Red that I bought at the Duty Free on the way out of Eurotown. I didn't get shrapnel in the Tel Aviv attack, but I got some wood sitting next to the two Manchester Lesbians on the Heathrow to S.F. leg of my return.
Now that I'm back I can actually read your posts, rather than just trying to jam in some trip update as I staggered along. I've got to sort through about 1K worth of pictures too. I did manage to get a couple more "hip shots" while In Israel. Stay tuned.

A funny thing we found out about the Palestinian young lady who had us in her parents "home" for the discussion. Our tourist guide did some checking with some regular Palestinian friends that she "knew."
Well, the old home with the peeling walls, and the poor old Aunt stuffing those grape leaves by the front gate, using a small hose leading from that poor old house, to her poor old bent frying pan on that poor old gas burner turned out to be just a lie.
Guess the young Palestinian woman who read the news at some radio station did in fact have a good education and live with some wealthy Palestinian parents in a nice home in Jerusalem. I guess the plight of a refugee family living like Jed Clampitt would be just too much for the world to handle.
And I was the one that gifted her the Honeysuckle soap from Oregon, the hot chocolate mix from poor old Oregon, the coffee from Nehalem Bay on the poor old Oregon coast.
I hate it when that happens.

I was sitting under this palm tree in a cheap white plastic chair, when I took this one of the gal returning from the Dead Sea. Follow that path down about 40 yards and that is where she did her "floating" and "mudding." Kind of hard to tell if she is a hottie or not, but I'd bet a buck that Wolfman has bigger tits than her.

We ate dinner at this Bedouin camp, and I took a picture of his sole camel. Seffi the Bedouin used to be a camel herder many years ago. He said the largest camel caravan he was ever in had 1000 camels.

This is a cave inside the small town of Darjat (sp?). The Druze, or at least that is what I think they were, used to use the cave to live in. When it was expanded (another room further dug in) they used it for some meetings. I think camels, goats or something has been sneaking back in here to get out of the heat, as I know dung smell. I even accepted the small cup of mint tea from the gal giving us the turd tour.

This is the IDF gal who was in a group of 4 who pulled over our "short" bus at some communal Kibbutz right at the Jordanian border. Our driver had let a few of us off to have pictures taken by the farm, when all of a sudden this Army jeep came roaring in. I was sitting in the back row of the bus (I was known as Rosa Luth Parks) and I yelled up to Nick our driver, "Hey Nick, looks like the IDF with automatic rifles are pulling us over."
I snapped this picture of the gal who came up and "warned" our group to don't even put a pinkie toe on the Jordanian side. Not bad of a shot considering I didn't aim, shot in between the drapes of the bus, and definitely didn't bring the camera to my face. Taking photo's of them might just get me yarded off the bus.
