Hey Mac22, if you don't mind, please record your spreadsheet tabulations in this thread. Thanks again for agreeing to take care of this chore.

I'm going to post every participants race team here as a reference.

16 participants is a new record for this contest that started back at TNW about 6 years ago. RACK us, each and every one, including you, Shoalzie.

A little statistical analysis for the stat geeks like myself is interesting. The following is the break down of how many 'votes' of confidence each of 17 different drivers received.

Jeffy Fagordon - 11
Tony Stewart - 9
Bitch Biffle - 9
Punkazz Johnson - 8
Carl Edwards - 5
Krackhead Busch - 3
Mark Martin - 3
Dale Jr. - 3
Jamie McMurray - 3
Ryan Newman - 2
Elliot Sadler - 2
Kasey Kahne - 1
Denny Hamlin - 1
Matt Kenseth - 1
whoever drives the 18 car now - 1
Kevin Harvick - 1
Michael Waltrip - 1

What's surprising to me is how much love Biffle is getting and how little love Jr. is getting. :?

Um, you might want to check last year's scoreboard and take your blinders off, bro.

scores will be usually posted the night of the race... but as mentioned before, NASCAR was still reviewing tapes hours after the race, hence the delay in the points

if anyone knows how to insert a grid... for reading ease i would prefer to do that... just send a pm

Third place, how you like me now?

It's not like I've gone on the message board and ripped NASCAR. I don't know why you're sweating me. I'm probably one of the most objective and open-minded sports fans on this entire board. I've always enjoyed watching Daytona every year and I think the final 20-25 laps of any race is worth watching. I don't follow it religiously but by no means do I not care about it. I was a big Dale Earnhardt fan and I haven't watch NASCAR as much since he was killed at Daytona. It's a fascinating sport but it doesn't rank up there with the NHL, NFL, baseball and college football and basketball. I used to really be into CART until that league fell apart. I put the PGA, NASCAR and tennis in the same category...I like the sports, I'm familiar with the top players/competitors but I don't watch it as much as I watch the other sports.

Like, as in, RACK! extreme pleaser for finally getting over on the Boyz. Gal has been a steady participant for some time now, and I believe this is the first time she's taken the weekly honors.

You and me both, man...I would've looked nice had those two cats finished the race in addition to Johnson and Junior finishing in the top 11. I had the race on but had the volume turned down while I was listening to some music. I turned my head for one second while I'm going to start cooking dinner and next thing I know, they're out. What exactly happened to them?

damn rozy he even got you a pole. I bet you're really excited about that. But you know what it means don't you? There's 42 other cars behind him that can put him into the wall.

Congrats to the 9 car for having a good start. Not as good as Jimmie's but what the heck, it's tough being at the top of the sport.

So the first segment is the first 7 events? I know they didn't race one week when the Busch circuit was in Mexico City. I'm just trying to understand what you mean by weeks. They don't race every single week, correct?

Correct me if i'm wrong, this is my understanding, next set of drivers need to be submitted by the race on April 30th. Race every week excluding 05/20 for the Nextel Circuit.

Segment 1 = Week 1 thru 8 (02/19 rain delay 02/20 1st race thru 04/22)
Segment 2 = Week 9 thru 16 (04/30 thru 06/25)
Segment 3 = Week 17 thru 25 ( 07/01 thru 09/03)
Segment 4 = The Chase - Week 26 thru 36 ( 09/09-11/19)
Hope this helps.....Shoalzie

Well, excuuuuuuuuuse me!

I only asked because there aren't races every week so by saying 1 week = 1 race isn't 100% accurate. They have some 'bye weeks' sprinkled in between some races.

WooHoo! I ruled and stuff. Not often that a 522 point week earns you top dawg.

Too bad the 99 lost it, else I really would have pwned the rest you also rans.

Congrats to Krackhead for earning himself another enemy in Bitch Biffle. Hey, it couldn't have happened to two bigger punks, so it's all good in my book.

Yep, except that "next week" is in two weeks since they're off for Easter.

This is probably really blowing Shoalzie's mind.

I'll toss out a thread after that for everybody who still wants to play to pick their teams. I expect we'll lose some of the bottom feeders, but will be pleasantly surprised if we don't.

Great work as always, Mac.
