A&M vs. OU - Saturday, January 14

Billy G. has this A&M team playing extremely well. JJ and Law are tearing it up, but, as always, we are a 5-man deep team. Foul trouble for any of our starters puts us in a real hole as you saw in the taco tech game where Kirk and Jones both fouled out. A&M did something in that game they didn't do all of last year...come from way behind to win while in foul trouble. Josh Carter came off the bench and lit it up from 3.
Saturday, we will be at home at Reed, hopefully coming off a win against OSU tonight in Stoolwater. Getting out to a quick lead is our thing, but holding it is always a problem. Our team defense has been great thus far, and I do not expect that to change. Foul trouble. That's my concern. Also, free throws. We SUCK at those.
I see A&M winning this game with 12,000+ filling up Reed (FINALLY!).
A&M - 59
OU - 54

It is quite plausible.

Yes, we're going to Stoolwater! Then we're going to Mancannon, and Anus, and Nowhere, then we're going to Autismtown, then Wakko, then Columbine....then we're going to Buttfuck, TX to take over the Big XII!
YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Thank God we have an entertainment center with two televisions; the wome's game against the pokes has been more enjoying.

Nothing against A&M.

The key word being "win." I'll take it. I'm sure something happened at some point in the game that we shouldn't have done anyway... It's nice to finally end up on the "W" side of one of those...

Oh, trust me, I don't take wins for granted like I used to.
You win or you lose, does not matter the point spread.
OU could be 3-0 or 0-3 right now if 3 shots go either way and we have played terrible.
I am just discouraged that there does not seems to be much improvement from game to game espcially from the gaurds.

45 - 44 :?
Was that a high school game or what?

How about that halfback Bookout? He made a good open field block on an A&M player to free up a shot. Nice moving pick couldn't have been more obvious if Kevin only puched the guy a mere five feet instead of the 3' he got away with.
There's your "no-call" Sooner babies.

compared to the first half, the second half was a track meet.
after 15 minutes is was still like 14-11. ATM was shooting about 33% and OU was scorching the nets at 27%. neither team was above 50% from the line, and not a single made 3. lotsa turnovers. lotsa.

Awful game. A&M lost two games by a total of 3 points right at the very end. I guess I know how SoonerFan feels...
Pretty much like I said though... Our defense was good. We got a good lead late ~ 7 points. We got in foul trouble early (JJ). We could not hold the lead. THe only part I was off was on our free throw shooting. It has been much better this past week.
I still feel we will be making it to the NCAA this year. We just need a couple good wins. These two this past week would have really helped us in the quality win department. I know OSU is down, but a win in Stillwater is rare.
