And if I am not mistaken, does still fit Shmuck's very strict definition of "western half" of the US.
Us folk on the Wet Side refer to it as "The Midwest."
Did a little topo googling. It's south eastern WA that has a pretty extensive flat area. I assumed OR would be a continuation of it, but apparently not.
