Not at all.
I dismiss asinine (and incredibly arrogant) stupidity.

Btw, Jay, Rooster, Joe, and Lefty ALL starting chirping about flat earth in this thread and it was not even the topic of the thread.
lol

Go look at that.
It's the FACT.

Being the polite gentleman that I am, I answered to those four folks.

Jay, Lefty, Rooster, and Joe all brought flat earth into the thread and I had not said a word about it.

I said for many months that I was not interested in talking fl@t earth.

A few people kept begging for it, over and over again.
I finally answered one of them -- and of course then it is off to the races.

Flat earth has been rattling around in domes for a couple of years now.
And it won't stop, either.

So, there ya go.

Let's have fun instead.

I should probably start a thread about Donald Trump coming out of the closet with French President Macron yesterday.

Stop with your delusional beatdowns. An internet legend in you own mind only doesn’t make it fact. Point out just one of these lurkers that you know supports your takes but doesn’t want to reply.

As for your truth claim that is so laughable. You run and hide from all facts that support a globe model. You toss out “I don’t have all the answers, but know it isn’t a globe” and never touch the subject again. You claim to want to learn but avoid all things supporting a globe model.

Softball Bat wrote:4. You, quite frankly, have failed miserably to prove your globe. So... yeah. You should just do as Jay should have done a long time ago. Eject.
Actually the globe has been proven time and again. You on the other hand have proven nothing.

Finally, don’t make the mistake that we find this topic interesting. It isn’t. It is the fact that someone would ignore the world around them and make outrageous claims. The subject itself doesn’t matter, more the carnival barker trying to make the sale.

But what you have posted proves exactly nothing.
What I am getting from this conversation is that unless you yourself go on a flight around the world or take a ride on a rocket ship into space and see it with your own eyes, you refuse to believe anything documented with video, direct observation, or by mathematical calculation. I've brought that scenario a number of times to him, Goobs. One time he said "I don't know". He has never had a good answer as to why airlines would purposely fuck away billions of dollars a year on extra fuel to maintain the "global illusion". Too bad he never considers economics and/or logic into his fairy tale.
This link has even stronger reasoning than economics.
To debunk the Flat Earth theory, you can just use Sydney to Santiago, Chile, Quantas flight 27, 7000 miles. 12 hour flight. This flight would be impossible on the Flat Earth model, requiring the plane to travel at twice the speed of sound.

Video.
Direct observation.
Mathematical calculation.

1. Provide the video showing a rocket ever going from land to space. Provide the video (or pic) of a satellite in space.

2. Show direct observation of the required curvature for your asinine globe.

3. (As posted previously) If you're telling me it is a FACT that it (water) curves, show me the scientific formula for that.
At what point does it bend and what amount of force applied to it is necessary to make it bend at the rate you claim it bends?

I showed you two examples of water curving and you ignore them like you do everything else. Face it liquids can and do curve. You want a mathematical formula? Figure it out yourself. Your claiming you need one as proof, when your own eyes tell you it is fact is just another way for you to deflect and dodge. Further if someone did post a formula it would be so far over your head that it would be floating in the water above the firmament. (See 8 inches per miles squared is a circle.)

Goobs, many of us have pointed out “flights” to him previously. JCS brought up Polar sightseeing flights and despite all the evidence he and I posted, mr vast multi-government conspiracy guy, just dismisses it all out of hand. Same for world record polar circumnavigation flights by Pan Am back in the day.

There are hundreds of things he ignores that prove a globe earth. But here’s hoping he keeps it up, as his trolling is providing lots of laughs around FBOs as I sit and wait with other pilots.

8 inches per mile squared says what? Your cut and paste YouTube videos debunked in seconds say what?

Your delusion that you know far better than some of the smartest people to ever live will never not fbe funny.

But a serious question for you? Why do you believe the Bible despite no evidence and nothing being a proven fact? Why selectively apply faith? In the case of the globe you are not only not applying any faith you are doing so against mountains of evidence. Yet you apply faith to the Bible in a vacuum of proof?

As of 2006, overseas satellite links accounted for only 1 percent of international traffic, while the remainder was
carried by undersea cable. The reliability of submarine cables is high, especially when (as noted above) multiple
paths are available in the event of a cable break.

From the web site "Satellite TV/How Stuff Works":

At the broadcast center, the TV provider receives signals from various programming sources and beams a broadcast signal to satellites in geosynchronous orbit. The satellites receive the signals from the broadcast station and rebroadcast them to Earth.

Any other stupid questions about how a satellite dish and broadcasting system work?

We can begin with...

1. There is no video of a rocket going from land to space
2. There is no pic or video of a satellite in space

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geostationary_orbit

A geostationary orbit, geostationary Earth orbit (often referred to as geosynchronous equatorial orbit)[1] (GEO) is a circular
geosynchronous orbit 35,786 kilometres (22,236 mi) above the Earth's equator and following the direction of the Earth's rotation.

Image

Your satellite is supposedly 22,236 miles (exactly -- it is the sweet spot) above the equator and is moving along at nearly an identical pace as the earth, which is spinning at over 1,000 mph at the equator.

For comparison, the ISS is supposedly only 250 mile above the earth.

Now the earth is spinning (allegedly) 1,000 mph.
The earth is also allegedly orbiting the sun at a speed of 67,000 mph.
Oh... and the sun (and earth) are supposedly moving through the galaxy at 45,000 mph.
lol

So...

How did they get your satellite WAY out there (90 times further out than the ISS) to lock on to the earth's rotation (right at the precise sweet spot -- 22,236 miles) with all of this incredible motion going on?

Not just that, but the satellite had to be placed at a spot right over the equator.

Bullseye!!

LMAO!

#nope

Now Google satellites in space.

You'll see a bunch of cartoons.

Again, where is physical proof? Yes other writings lend credence that these people lived and wrote same for Jesus.

But where is the physical evidence of the subjects of the writing? Where is the ark, where is the tower, where is Jesus’ burial tomb. Where is the same evidence that you require for a globe earth?

So far your “proof” of the Bible is far lacking what we have for a globe model.

I never made the claim that there is physical proof of the letters.

I said Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are physical evidence that supports the Bible.

In fact, there is a lot of evidence for the authenticity of the letters -- see the link I posted.
There is so much evidence for the authenticity of those letters that in my estimation, when someone denies it they are either completely ignorant or in complete denial.

We don't have the original letters.
If you want to dismiss the validity of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John on that basis, so be it.
It's your call.

Why are you tripping out about this?

Tripping out about Noah's Ark, the Tower of Babel, etc.
lol
When did I ever say there was physical proof for these things?

Do you always have trouble reading, Derron?

Do you know the difference between evidence and proof?

We have no physical proof of Mark's Gospel.
We don't have the original.

What we do have is physical evidence that Mark did indeed write his Gospel.
We happen to have an awful lot of that evidence.

Next time you decide that you should chime in, don't.
Far less embarrassing for you.

Now we are getting somewhere. So there is no physical proof of the Bible stories. There is evidence that leads towards supporting these stories, letters, books, etc. But you apply faith and believe the stories in the Bible to be true and the word of God.

Meanwhile you ignore evidence of a globe model and demand 100% indisputable proof of a globe.

So for probably the 20th time, why do you apply Faith to the Bible despite lack of physical proof and refuse in the event of a globe earth?

Lefty, the Bible is a different animal.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the
children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Romans 1:20

Refusal to answer the question and quoting the Bible in reference to questions about proof of the Bible? Par for the course for you I guess.

Bottom line, you are applying a double standard and don’t really care to learn despite your claims.

See this is why you are the GOAT of trolls.
