Props to the Patriots cart guy for making another appearance in the game.
I can understand your dismay after watching your guys get carted off the field, but this hardly qualifies as "cheering injuries for my team."
As for Harrison, I honestly have neither love nor disdain for the man.
Injuries happen ... and the game moves on.
Propping the "cart" guy because the Pats lost two starters would qualify in my eyes as cheering injuries for my team. What goes around comes around I guess so I will keep my eyes on the Chief injury report and prop whoever was responsible. Any answers to my questions?

Since most of them really concerned my opinions in the first place, other than a front-running jab, I'll take a pass. As stated previously, I'm pretty lukewarm on Harrison. While he's a tough, hard-nosed player, he's also had his share of questionable to downright dirty hits. Doesn't make him any less of a football player in my eyes; however, folks seem to remember those plays when they start piling up over the years.
My initial comment was a mere observation that your defense continues to lose players this season. While you're still getting it done with a bit more than smoke and mirrors this season, there's only so many notches any coordinator can take before talent overcomes schema.
A bit thin-skinned in this thread, you are. If it will make your day a bit brighter seeking some sort of Internet revenge for my cart guy sins, knock yourself out.
Won't bother me a bit.
Any questions you'd like to ask of me directly, I'll be more than happy to oblige; however, I won't speak for others' opinions or past transgressions.

Got a football take? Or are you just going to keep on ankle biting those that do have football takes?

Your next 'take' will be your first. You always whine, bitch, and complain. That doesn't count as a take. Too bad it didn't subtract from your post total, it would be in the high negatives.

Mmmmm... I wonder when the Pinkster will notice your constant trolling?
Anyway, Willie Parker was the subject of this subthread. Have you anything to offer on that subject?

This is the first game Willie's struggled, but the Patriots made the Pittsburgh OLine look average (says more about how great the Pats' Dline is). I am curious to see how he does against the Chargers. Their rushing defense isn't as good as New England, so he should be able to rack up more than 55 yards.

If Parker runs with the authority that he has shown in his first 3 games, another 100 yard performance is a lock. I'd like to see Roethlisberger start to pass a bit more often to Parker. He doesn't need to have LT like recieving numbers, but 4 or 5 targets a game would give him some chances to make big places in the open field without taking away from the overall game plan.
Like I said before, what I like most about Parker is his ability to make positve yardage out of a broken play. He may have only gotten 55 yards last week. But if Bettis or Staley had been in there, it would have been more like 35.

They act like everyone else is making it up.......they can't see outside the box. It IS funny. I can remember the thread on the greatest team of all-time and kc fan going back and forth with other kc fan. It was the ultimate kc circle jerk. Is there any way to pull it up? I think they would even laugh at some of the things they were saying.
It was well on the way again....hell......they are scoring 45 pts on the Eagles. Myopia that never dies. It is entertaining and I love it. Nothing like homerism breeding more homerism and then having the season ripped from you.........carry on.......
PS Do we have any access to the old archives????

Freaking racks to Neely.
Kid knows his Pats.
Harrison plays (or quite possibly played) every game like it was his last.
In my opinion, dude just laid it on the line. This is how I was.
Y'all know you'd like to have him on your team lighting dudes up.
Those of you who have never stepped between the lines,
ragging on Harrison should take a step back and shut your fucking traps.

This pretty much explains why the Steelers lost.
On their first drive of the second quarter, Ben Roethlisberger threw a 49-yard pass to Antwaan Randle El inside the New England 15. Randle El tried to lateral to Hines Ward, but Ward couldn't handle it, and the Patriots recovered the fumble. Two drives later, the Steelers penetrated to the Patriots' 29, but came away with no points after a false start penalty on Barrett Brooks negated Reed's 47-yard field goal. And, in the third quarter, the Steelers got to New England's 11, but had to settle for a Reed field goal.
So the Steelers penetrated the New England 30 three times in the second and third quarters and came away with three points.

Two breakdowns cost them a minimum of 6 points. Poor execution and inspired defense by the Pats cost them the rest. 6 points would have been enough to render that last FG a moot point.
If I'm Cowher I never let this team forget that. Ever.

That's on Belichick to work with his team on. Cowher's job is to work on mistakes made by the Steelers. Randle El's hook and lateral attempt and Brooks' penalty were critical mistakes that directly cost the Steelers points and were totaly avoidable.
