In 2020, Sandmann settled his lawsuits against CNN, NBC Universal and the Washington Post. As far as the amount, who cares? :meds: It's the principle that counts.

I'm not a fan of FOX, but obviously they read the tea leaves and realized that settling was cheaper than the long legal slog. AS for the actual assertions of voter fraud, let's bear in mind that the whole retinue of DNC honchos is on record complaining bitterly about hacked voting machines and so forth. When it comes to the 2020 Biden victory, there's the niggling fact that America has about 130 million registered voters, and Orange Man received about 79 million. So...how did Gibberin' Joe, who had campaigned from his basement, receive 80 million votes?

Jsc, the Fox settlement is the second largest in history. Alex Jones has the $787M beat by a couple hundred million dollars.

275 million is the amount Sandman sued for. Whether he got that or not wasn’t made public.

Still is completely distinct from a nuisance value settlement.
Agreed, and I don't recall a defendant being told by a judge that the lying had been so established that the defendants could only argue as to whether the lies were malicious.

You think he got what he was asking for? You are dumb as dirt, as has been noted earlier most of the suit was dismissed.

I read just fine, you said we don’t know if he got it all or not but we do because most of what he was suing for was dismissed. You know nothing about tort law do you?

That's just a simplistic assertion with an attempt to scold. And it doesn't address or answer the basic question. ;-)

RFK Jr. was arrested for heroin possession, and pled guilty, in 1983.

Once upon a time he was a druggie.

I don't consider it a big deal now, but it is part of his life resume.

Wrong. While I like some of his takes, his stalwart suppoprt of Covid vaccine mandates is a complete deal breaker.

But he might be the sort to persue this dangling bit of evidence for the biggest crime in modern history...

Interestingly, Judy Woodruff has offered no comment whatsoever on this interview..

But while Jr's anti-vax stance is a brave one, his voice just doesn't work. DeSantis also has an elocution issue.

But the DNC has a funny past... :meds:

You're cool, JSC, but that's not true. There is no way in hell Biden received more votes than both Obama and Trump. He was not close to electrifying to his supposed base, like those two were. Given the climate, it defies reason. Given the real time charting of votes, it defies precedence.

What happened is the same thing which happened with Kennedy vs Nixon.... denied denied denied until it no longer matters anymore and the media pretends it was always officially accepted the 1960 election was juiced.

Biden isn't Kennedy, though. I wasn't there, but I think Kennedy went rogue against certain powers and principalities via Bobby. Bobby was the true MVP. Biden hasn't gone rogue; he can't, he's senile, and I don't think he would have wanted to even if he were all there.

There's a lot of cool shit under the sea, deserts and jungle (and Antarctica). I tell myself if it's all dug out now, it'll end up like Pompeii and Herculaneum - damaged, stolen, neglected. But it would still be nice to see how people lived with incomprehensible morals, ethics and taboos compared to now.

He was a Q-anon supporter, at least in public. Fucked up game to play on people. On the other hand, if he ran a real campaign he'd blow everyone else out of the water, R or D.

I absolutely agree with you in that Biden did not electrify his base as much as Obama and trump.

Yet he still received more votes. Why? Because trump electrified his opponents as well. People were motivated to vote against trump, probably moreso than they were voting for Biden.

And should that orange cancer run again, the same thing will happen.
Yup.
