Nope.

GPS or Global Positioning System, have you ever used it? Google Maps or Waze, I use both quite often for directions when traveling in North America, and have used GPS in Europe and Asia. I've also used it for positioning while backpacking Denali National Park in Alaska, where there were only animal trails and streams to hike on. It is fairly precise and has always performed well, and is based on the earth being a globe. Oh yeah, many of those smart bombs and cruise missiles that we've seen on CNN etc., that are so accurate, use GPS.

How does GPS prove the earth is a globe?

How do you know they use satellites?

The ISS has supposedly been circling the earth 16 times a day for 20 years.

It has gone around the earth approximately 116,800 times.

There are supposedly over 4,000 satellites orbiting the earth.

And yet...

We have not a single photo of any satellite in space.

We also have exactly NO video of a rocket ever going from land to space.

What we have are a lot of fantastical tales.

You can being thinking any decade now.

GPS mapping shows the earth as a globe, and the positioning is almost exact everywhere. It is also used world wide in every country.

Believe what you will pops, but maybe your scrutiny might be better served asking yourself who wrote the Old and New Testiments, and who are the main beneficiaries?

Governments aren't alone in bending the truth for their benefit.

No need to bother with the GPS. A flat earth GPS would function just fine with 3 or 4 ground transmitters.

What he can’t explain are seasons, time zones, tides and many other phenomena which are perfectly explained by the known system.

I don't have to explain everything because I don't have a model that I point to and claim to be FACT.
What I do is research things.

You can look up those things you listed and see what flat earth proponents say about them.

None of those things are perfectly by the "known system," because the heliocentric model is preposterous and utterly ridiculous.

Water (and atmosphere - lol) will not stick to the outside of a ball, let alone a ball that is spinning and moving in multiple directions.
There is no science to show that this happens.

It is a JOKE.

The ISS is also laffably ridiculous.
Nobody could possibly live in it and it could never have been assembled.

Use a critical mind for a change and really think about some of these things.

Link? You keep claiming this to be fact, yet you dodge everything that supports a globe model. If you were a man of your word you would book a vacation to take a Southern Polar flight and or a flight from NZ to S America. At a minimum you would reach out to those that have and get their first hand accounts.

Dude, I have put up SO many lengthy posts giving "flat earth" explanations for things that globe enthusiasts use to claim their ridiculous model is true.
I have done it for a couple of years now.
I have actually spent a lot of time and energy doing so.

I don't have all of the answers -- and when I don't, I simply say so.

The flights DO NOT prove your globe.

If you somehow think they do, enjoy it.

Just because you have spent hours cutting and pasting things here doesn’t mean you have researched things. It just means you have spent hours cutting and pasting things.

And while S pole flight might not prove a globe they certainly disprove your idiotic ice wall theory. But instead of researching these things yourself you just claim not to have all the answers and ignore what supports a globe model.

Lie to yourself all you want but that isn’t research.

^^^^^this.

The heliocentric model is supported by countless pieces of observable data.

pop's flat earf is supported by a book written thousands of years ago which has been translated multiple times. There is no observable data beyond "water lays flat".

BTW, it doesn't. It curves very slowly, giving the appearance of being flat. And water does not "stick to the globe". It lays upon it thanks to some magical sourcery called gravity.

Now do us all a favor and test the gravity thing out by jumping off the tallest building in Seoul.

Basic observation of water shows us that it seeks its level and lays flat.

If you're telling me it is a FACT that it curves, show me the scientific formula for that.
At what point does it bend and what amount of force applied to it is necessary to make it bend at the rate you claim it bends?

Then show me an example of that really happening.

Are you high?

Water clings to the outside of a ball?

Show me a scientific demonstration of this ever happening.

Zactly, Spray. I have no objection to scientists earning a living, but in order to fund the projects they work on they apply for grants, which I understand is a brutal and cutthroat business. It pushes these people to produce results that are desired by their financial masters to keep the taps open and the money flowing. It may not be overt or bootlickingly obvious in the results, but the money queers the results. When the financial master is the government it automatically incurs a political penalty that should make all of us question the results, particularly when the administration advocates a position which places our economy in jeopardy— something that is endemic to a green oriented Democrat like Obama.

I don’t have an answer to fix the problem, but one thing I do know is that we shouldn’t make policy decisions on spurious results derived from highly questionable “science.”

Of course it does.

You show pics of water splashing (bending) and water bending under pressure in a tube.
Then you take that and somehow jump to the asinine conclusion that, "Yep, see there... bending water. So of course it also bends and sticks to the outside of a ball, too. You're dumb, poptart!"

Is this your proof of the globe?

If so, you need to get up to speed on this topic.

If someone crossed the South Pole (N-S), going from one end of Antarctica to the other, it would be pretty damn hard to still make a case for a flat earth.

But what you have posted proves exactly nothing.
