But it's for the children, Van. Why do you hate kids, especially those who are, uh...challenged?
Still, you just play what people request, so no blame goes to you.
Actually, I do have to shoulder the blame for Sister Ray. No one requested it.
The stuff you play on your own is always good.
See above. I've also been known to play One Night in Bangkok without being requested. And I'd do it again.
But yeah, it'd be cool to get Dins in there and get his soothing, supportive takes on things. I'm sure he'd get along famously with Kid Barf, and Todd with his "I just had to go smoke a fag! Hey, let's play the gayest music we can think of!" quips would be music to Dins's computer screen.
Yeah, he'd be the Paula Abdul to your Simon Cowell.

You going on tonight, Smackie?

I'd like to get an early request or two in if I may: Big Pink - Dominos - you may not have heard it before, it's a catchy tune. And if T_M shows up, for her play Metallica - Enter Sandman - and may she never want to hear Black Eyed Piss again.

Some really good tunes last night aside from the requested country that made me want to crawl under the bed.

Please Indy, don't make Smackie play that crap. You've got your own show (which I also appreciate) if you insist on hearing it.

Well, IF I were to go Metallica, my favorite album is Ride The Lightning. Fade to Black, Creeping Death or The Call of Ktulu would have been dope.

I have 4TB's of music, so the Wagon cannot preach to me about music. Hell, Spray kept me up until 4am last week with his awesome blues, southern rock last week. He even played some of my requests like Guitar Slim, Jimmy Reed and Johnny Winter.

I typically play 6-8 hr weekend sets. I think the latest I've stayed up playing was about 4:30 am Eastern, but I usually end between 2 & 3 am, as was the case last night. Tonight's will be short, however; I had a 7:45 am flight scheduled for tomorrow morning that was canceled, and I got rebooked on a 6:00 am flight. Plus there's the time change tonight, so we lose an hour. I'll prolly end tonight between 11 & 12 Eastern.

Agreed. I've been moving to upgrade my collection to FLAC whenever possible. It's been a bit of a pain, but the increase in quality more than makes up for the added drive space they take up.
