Precisely, Wagon.

His failure to deliver on that promise most definitely can not be blamed on the republican house he's had for the last 2 years.

Foolix is 0-1.

I'll reply to the rest of his tripe (if mvscal, Truman... or someone else doesn't beat me to it) when I have the time.

PSU, Mikey.

I care for many reasons.

One might be that I am a U.S. citizen who PAYS U.S. TAXES.

That'd be a 'skin in the game,' 'tards.

You do that a lot. You did it with The Buzzer the other day too. That whole "rally the troops so you can hide behind them" schtick...

In reading your gibberish, I see that other than not closing Gitmo (which I showed you can not be blamed on the republican house), the only other Barry failing which you are wanting to try lay at the rep' house's fault is the 'shovel ready jobs' failure.

First, weren't these jobs supposed to be coming directly as a result of the 800 billion dollar stimulus package in 2009?

You failed again.

Further, in March of this year, Barry's budget was put up for vote in the senate and was defeated 99-0.

In fact, the two Barry budgets previously put up for vote were defeated 414-0 and 97-0.

THINK about that.

And even further kicking your balls up to your stomach is the fact that the democrats haven't (despite being required by law to do so) produced a budget for over 3 years.

The republicans HAVE, and have clearly shown themselves to be the only adults in the room.

Bottom line, you cite NO item on mvscal's list of Barry failures which can be placed at the feet of the evil republicans who have blocked him.

More shit you just can't make up.

Barry sez 84,000 new jobs created in June is... a step in the right direction.

More like a step in a huge pile of shit.

70,000 last month, remember - an abysmal failure.

Doesn't the number need to be, like 3-4 tmes that just to keep pace?

Pop, if you are out of the country, and you are uninterested in taking a role in the day-to-day affairs of America, then why not consider renouncing your citizenship? From your distant vantage, I guess you've lost a grasp on the fact that we need revenue in order to provide social services, pave our roads, keep aging GWB cronies flush with viagra, etc.

Search your feelings, pawp. You know this is the right thing.

Reads to me like Congress actually did the American people a service for a change.

Here's a few more numbers, "bud":

Capacity at Florence is 490 inmates. There are currently 431 prisoners incarcerated there, at a cost of an estimated $75,000 per inmate. So far, so good. 490 inmates x $75k = $36,750,000.

Trouble is, there are 149 detainees at Gitmo. So the number goes up: 580 inmates x $75,000 = $43,500,000.

Still in good shape with a $80 million windfall to the American tax payer. Oh wait... We have to build new facilities too? Well, duh. Can't have over-crowding at SuperMax.

Even if you jammed Max to its current capacity, you'd still have to build facilities for 90 prisoners - at a cost of $800,000 per copy. Oh, look! That adds another $72,000,000 to the bill.

Now we're at $1.15B. Still a savings to the American tax payer? Well, of COURSE we'll no long want to talk to our guests... and even if we do, our intelligence officers will work for free, right? Korans and prayer rugs? Sorry, Achmed, but they ain't in the budget.

And yes, I realize building costs are one time fees. Still, your little defense budget illustration is purposefully vague - we ARE camped on lands claimed by a sworn enemy, after all. I have to think some of that Intelligence money is re-directed towards keeping an eye on the Cubans as well.

So is there a better use for that $100M savings? I suppose we could've kept Solyndra afloat for another five years...

Frankly, I don't care if it stays open or not. Those prisoners could be held in other secure facilities like Ft. Leavenworth and it wouldn't concern me in the least.

But it's not up to me and obviously I'm not privy to all the details of why 94 of 100 U.S. Senators and the military want to keep it open indefinitely, but I'm sure they must have good reason.

Jeff Sessions (R) did present Barry's budget (same fundamental numbers, but as a much shorter and vague representation) for vote in the senate.

The dems cried foul and nobody voted for it.
99-0.

Their indignation at the Sessions move holds NO water, however, when confronted with the reality that they have produced NO budget and could simply put Barry's true budget up for a vote if they wanted to.

But they don't, and that says it all.

THEY are the ones who simply will not engage.

It's undeniable and yet they feebly try to spin it back at the republicans.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense sees through their bullshit immediately.

Only idiots such as Felix are confused.

still scratching my head over which part of this Felix doesn't get, and it's old news.

ya' know, I really don't wish failure upon Obama. If he fails, America fails. Of course, I don't want him reelected but when your own party (who had a majority in both houses of Congress his first 2 years) stones you on what had been a signature issue of his campaign, maybe you don't know what the fuck you are doing.

And I'm incredulous at the likes of Jsc, a seemingly intelligent person, who is so smugly certain Obama will beat Romney. Hello? Romney may not do better, but he damn sure can't do any worse. At least he has some real world, pragmatic business sense.

I'll be quite surprised if he doesn't make Obama a one term President.

If Barry is somehow elected again and he gets to appoint more Alan Kagan and Sonny Sotomayor types to the Supreme Court, the country is toast.

Truly frightening.

That's the only reason a vote for Romney could make some sense, imo.

still scratching my head over which part of this Felix doesn't get, and it's old news.
which part don't you get....obama submitted a budget, the republicans rewrote it into a steaming pile of dogshit and submitted it for consideration.....that's the reality of it.....they block him at every turn....

heres a list of bills the republicans have blocked
Tax on Companies that ship jobs overseas
Political Ad disclosure bill
Subpoena Power for the Committee investigating the BP Oil Spill
The Small Business Jobs Act (although the second time they tried to block it it failed and the bill was passed)
The DREAM Act
Health Care for the 9/11 First Responders who got sick from being at Ground Zero
The Jobs Bill
Wall Street Reform
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
Oil Spill Liability
Immigration Reform
Unemployment extension bill HR-4213
Fair Pay Act of 2009

want some more...there's plenty more where those came from

and lets not forget
Filibustering the American Jobs Act.
Stonewalling monetary stimulus.
Threatening a debt default.
Cutting discretionary spending in the debt ceiling deal.
Cutting discretionary spending in the budget deal.

they also got our country's credit rating downgraded-single highhandedly

here's the legislation the republicans have pushed through
The Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act (H.R. 872)
The Energy Tax Prevention Act (H.R. 910)
The Clean Water Cooperative Federalism Act (H.R. 2018)
The Consumer Financial Protection & Soundness Improvement Act (H.R. 1315)
The Restarting American Offshore Leasing Now Act (H.R. 1230)
The Putting the Gulf of Mexico Back to Work Act (H.R. 1229) and the Reversing President Obama’s Offshore Moratorium Act (H.R. 1231)

no doubt, these bills are clearly designed to help struggling american middle classers...

the fucking republicans are obstructionists and then when the dems don't want to cooperate they show crocodile tears and indignation fuck those assholes

Felix wrote:wow, you come up with numbers almost as staggeringly stupid as Derron....first, why do you think they'd all go to one prison? there are 116 federal prisons in the United States....take the 149 prisoners at gitmo and that would be just over 1 new prisoner per facility....hardly any reason to start throwing out numbers like 1.15 billion just to accommodate 150 people
Staggreringly stupid? Help me remember, Felix... Was it me or was it you who made a billion dollar mistake in the math of this subject (see the bottom of page five)?

Rack mvscal, BTW...

As for coming up with numbers... The figures I posted are readily available on the 'net - even for Kaczynski-like Idaho shut-ins. So you would advocate scattering Gitmo detainees across the entirety of our Federal prison system? Thinking like this would leave you hard-pressed convincing the Germans they were wrong...

If Barry submitted it, how is it that the dastardly republicans... uhh... submitted it?

You've soiled yourself, Felix.

Get yourself cleaned up and maybe we can talk.

Now...
There is an elementary way to rectify the situation which has led to Felix' downfall.

The dems are 3+ years delinquent in producing their own budget, yes?

Why didn't they just submit Barry's true budget for a vote?

Think it over.
I'll just be waiting over here.

They did that, huh?
And single highhandly, even.

Explain yourself.

Felix, I'm not going to go down your list of bills the nasty republicans have blocked.
It's not worth the time - and you've already had multiple reality checks walloped into your temple, and yet you remain unfazed.
Getting your head cracked many more times obviously won't help you.
You're the Rodney King of T1B.

It's very simple, however.

You can't expect bills to be passed when you yourself (dems) fail to meet even the most basic level of fiscal adulthood.
That is, operating under a BUDGET - as families, businesses, and governments must.
It's adult reality.
The dem approach is nothing less than infantile.

Show yourself mature enough to take that basic step and you will have begun to move toward a point at which compromise can be found on certain bills.

The democrats had Washington completely to themselves for 2 years ---> and they went completely berserk with spending and NO budget.
The people voted a slew of 'fiscal conservatives' in to office in 2010 because they wanted the madness to end.
It was time then for the dems to put their big boy pants on and yet they've failed to even get leg one to the first pant leg.

Still no budget from these @ssholes.

This administration is a PROFOUND failure and all it seeks to do is blame anything else that moves for the disaster of an economy that has resulted from their operation.

Pitiful.

I think you are a person of at least modest means.
You golf, I think you are a professional person (accountant?), etc.
You're not a dirt-eater by any means.

Can't you realize that these people seek to shit all over your face ("middle class") with their policies?
Given the chance, they'd wipe you right the fuck out and not think twice about it.

And yet you're in here dutifully hoovering so as not to leave a single drop of sperm in their nut.

Find your missing dignity.

Look them up yourself dick head. You can search the information out yourself while hammering the key board with one hand and pounding your miniscule penis with the other, saying .." I am getting over ! "

Not really in the habit of making it known where I live or am involved with.....There are damn few projects going on, should not be hard for some "commercial real estate' honk like you ... The numbers I got are directly from the school administration, so maybe they could have lied to me or maybe now ? I would be shocked..but knock yourself out...go put some salve on your plungered asshole and continue your flailing around. Your melts are funny to watch..Go fuck your self Foolix..

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.
