There are reasons to be optimistic, indeed. There are also reasons to be disappointed and concerned about what will transpire now. Mostly because it is unknown. Obama does have a trend of exploiting people to get to where he wants to get. He's done that now and last night's display of magnamous statesmanship needs to be followed by action.

I heard words that asuaged some concern over a sharp turn to the hard left. But what actually happens remains to be seen.

As for Obama and McBush, there it is. Obama, potentially, will carry Bush's work the next logical steps. Further erosion of civil liberty, more government spending, and he will do all in the name of security.

Whether the incident will be a result of a foreign or domestic "crisis" - read "attack" - remains to be seen. But I do believe, as Biden suggested, it will be seen.

The dow going down today is a reaction to the big day yesterday. Its pretty common for the unstable market we've been having that people are looking to sell high whenever the market goes up.
