Your opinion, which you are entitled to, no matter how wrong it is.

What a country.

Nanker Fledge is a pseudonym used for crediting songs written by all the original Stones, Mick Jagger/Brian Jones/Keith Richards/Charlie Watts/Bill Wyman.

That they are thieves is not my opinion, it's a fact. The resting on laurels is an opinion but not many people will argue with it so we are left with banality and mediocrity. Do you disagree with both?

I now know the answer to a question that has and will never be asked of me.

Still, nice to know and still wondering why anybody would hate on the Stones.

Not the greatest band ever, not even in my Top 10, but anybody with a room temp IQ should respect their body of work and longevity.

Somewhere below The Beach Boys but slightly above CCR... I really dig John Fogerty so it hurts to say that.

Being as how 1/12/62 is my birthday... I'll give the Stones a 13.

Happy now?

There is no denying their body of work.

Their longevity is about '64 - '81.
Tattoo You (1981) is their last relevant work.

Their endless "nostalgia" tours are whore tours.

Cheap Trick is originally from Rockford, just a little ways south of here. I've seen them numerous times going back to their inception in the early 70's. A good friend worked as one of their roadies for many years, and when he ran up some unexpected medical bills a few years back they did a benefit for him. That was the last time I saw them. They still put on a phenomenal live show.
Cheap Trick was fantastic, they earned their money.

Frampton, not so much. Just a wall of extra loud noise he tried to pass off as music. We left early.

I look at the Beach Boys like I do Elvis, they have a place in R&R history, but I don't own any of their music or listen to them except for random radio play. Cheap Trick doesn't do anything for me except initiate a station change.
