Demand / sales down 55% over that time period- Price up 100% over the same time period.

Makes perfect sense.
Check the global demand, Derron, and get back to me. The demand from China and India is driving up prices. At any rate, the president, whether it be Obama or Romney, can do nothing about the price of gas. Any candidate who claims they can bring the price down is full of shit.

Yeah but it sure gives the sheep (sorry Mace no offense meant) morons like mvscal, Derron, Wags, etc., etc. something to bitch about. Pretty soon Wags will have to buy a money order just to drive to work and back.

Looks like Romney could bring back low gas prices with his idiotic economic policy.

I don't nor should you give a flying fuck about the global price of gas. You should care about the price in Sheepfuck, Iowa, and me in Worldsbestfishing, Oregon.

I agree, no politician can do anything about the price. The market strictly controls that.

In June of 2008, I was paying well over $ 4 per gallon for gas and diesel. My company's fuel bill was over $ 5,000 that month. Our gross sales that month was around $ 80,000. Small change no doubt. June of 2009 I was paying $ 1.86 or so. Our gross sales were about $ 9,000 per month.

I would be more than happy to have kept paying $ 4 per gallon, and making 80K in sales per month, instead of paying $ 1.86 and having sales of 9K. No brainer there.

Derron, it's the global demand that's driving up OUR gas prices, so you and I should both give a flying fuck about it.

smackaholic, try reading my post next time before commenting on it. All you did was agree with me 100% after telling me I'm wrong.

See, this...

they will vote for mitt. every last one of them.
Jesus, dude. You of all people ought to know better than to try to correct me.

Meaning that Romney's policies could throw us into the depths of another recession as in 2008. Certainly not a glowing endorsement for Mitt.

Don't know if you caught something I posted in another thread, but for what it is worth....I took 3 investors on a tour of some properties and showed them some plans for 3 projects, that a general contractor friend / associate of mine has. Each one of them expressed interest in two of the projects and said if Rommey is elected, it is a go. If Obongo is elected, they are sitting on the money for at least a year.

2 million dollars at stake here. which way should it go ?

It's a gamble either way, Derron. There's absolutely nothing that Romney has proposed that will help the economy so, if they're gamblers, they should invest the money and do their part to help the economy. That's easy for me to say since I've never had $2 million to invest but people holding on to their money is part of the problem.

Is December of 2007 in Q1? You can surely spin a little better than that.
It was a typo. I meant Q1 2008 which is Oct-Dec 2007 calendar year.

Anything else?
