We have at home. Carolina Reapers (proprietary seeds), scorpions, and habanero hots.

The scorpions have the best flavor. And are used in extremely small quantities.

And as far as jalapenos, there's so many varieties, you cant really say "they're hot," or "they're not hot." They vary radically (as do habaneros).

Anchor sauce isn't even one of my top five favorite sauces. It's the sauce that makes the wing. I would rather have Sal's Sassy Sauce, Country Sweet, Boss Sauce before having any of that junk that Anchor puts out.

:? You'd get strung up for that in Buffalo, not big on the Anchor Bar either, but there's too many to name. Gabriel's Gate or Duff's just to get started. Rochacha is Garbage Plates*, there's not a wing joint of repute known outside of the town.

I don’t really get the whole chicken wing thing. They’re all bone and skin with a tiny sliver of meat, making them too much effort to eat when compared to almost every other part of the yard bird. Chicken strips from the breast? Yep. Thighs if you like dark meat? Yep. Drum sticks? Yep.

I suppose it started as a marketing gimmick so that restaurant owners could rid themselves of useless portions of the chickens they sold much like cow’s tongue. Who eats that stuff?

You've just had shitty wings, probably from a rooster, not a hen. Local place called Chicken Lips does an enormous wings business, the dry-rubbed being far and away the best (a mix of 24 herbs and spices with very sufficient heat). And the wings are decent sized. A proper chicken wing has plenty of meat, and a superior skin to meat ratio. Can't stand that nasty Buffalo sauce, though.

All I did was call some brillo-pads a spade and that set it off. Do they are not have wire-brush hair? And obviously their coon-genes help them rise to the top of the basketball ability bell curve, so along with that comes the proto-primate attributes.

Then that dink head Moonves fired me. Hahaha looks who is laughing now he's busted for doing the women for years and years. Nappy hair myass.

SS, is it a flavor thing? A price point thing? A ratio of effort to consumption thing? I remain mystified why if all aspects are equal (the dark meat vs white meat, crispy skin, the tenderness of the meat, etc) someone who loves chicken— as I do —wouldn’t select other more... bountiful portions of the bird to eat. Or is it perhaps a comfort type meal which harks back to something you ate as a kid and you associate good memories with that meal? What makes the wing a better choice than a different part of the chicken? I genuinely want to know.

Ranch dressing on wings is an abomination in the sight of the Lord. Get some freaking blu cheese Sam.

What is it with you people south of the Mason-Dixon Line trying to ruin food?

I have done honey sriracha peanut butter wings at home that were kinda cool. Need to play around with the recipe some. The last batch were a little too peanut buttery.

BTW, peanut butter just might be the most versatile awesome food there is. That shit can be mixed with an amazing variety of things.

And if I make some and you dip them in ranch....I will fight you.

OK so my demented mind is playing tricks on me.
Not the first time.

There's a Hidden Valley in Templeton (SLO County not Santa Barbara) that has a sign that’s similar to the “original” one in the picture (which apparently was actually in Colorado) Least that’s where I think I saw it. :?

Don’t care much for the stuff anyway.
