I am wondering how all these various planets, moons, asteroids, and stars all managed to be placed full-disk side towards Earth. If Earth is a disk, it stands to reason every other celestial body is a disk as well. So how did they all end up facing us? Not one ended up edge on towards us.
Hmm. :?

The video is soft focused and shaky, but it is shot through a smaller telescope. The moon in particular shows a global shape, as does Jupiter and Saturn. Not debatable.

Point taken; you did not claim that Earth is a disk. I concede I made an assumption that was wrong. However, as the equation A = B and B = C, therefore A = C, if you don’t know what shape Earth is, but you can see that all the other celestial bodies are disk shaped, it stands to reason that the earth resembles those other bodies which we can observe. From that you can derive that the shape of Earth is, at the very least when seen from afar, a disk, presuming that everything is two dimensional in... the firmament... and God was consistent when He created stuff.

However, I recall years ago that scientists shot a laser at the moon to measure both its distance and its shape. As nearly everyone else would expect, those scientists discovered that it was half spherical, in the sense that they could not measure the dark side. Would you make the claim that our moon is shaped like an ice cream scoop cut in half? Mind you, there have been a multitude of surprises for astronomers upon every discovery, but as of yet they have not found any objects with that shape yet.

As to your question about videoing a rocket shot from Earth to space, that has been done many times, both from the perspective of the observer here on the ground and from the rocket itself— as has been posted earlier by Jay. This is no secret or hidden recording— measurements taken during acceleration were and are highly necessary for improving performance and reducing failures, something desirable considering how expensive space work is.

Felix, poptart is a moron. No matter how much physical or visual evidence you show him, he cries fake but never can prove or dispute it. The telescope footage is painfully real. Hell, remember the movie made about Apollo 13? It displays a genuine weightless environment as it would be in space. I'm sure poptard thought those were special effects, but that was achieved in orbit about the plane known as the Vomit Comet, which LS can address. It goes though parabolas that produce a weightless condition that lasts about 25 seconds.

Tart will deny this too, but again, he's an idiot.

I know it is really kooky and stuff, but it is my contention that on a lake, water lays flat from one end to the other.
Like what you see below.

But you say "No, poptart. You are an idiot!"

Okay, will you please provide me with the mathematical formula for the curving of water that you insist is... fact.

Science.

My post kind of hits the essence of it, Marty.

I think water lays flat across a lake, the globers insist it curves.

I have asked for them to show me the mathematical formula or equation for such, but it has not shown up.
It is as absent as KC Scott.

What shows up are pictures of droplets of water.
LOL

Or... gibbering about gravity.
LOL

Or... angry diatribes punctuated by "YOU ARE A MORON," and other very hurtful language.
LOL

And of course we see things like what 88 just posted.
With no mathematical formula to be found.

So it is.

Mathematically, the water should follow the curvature of the Earth, having an equal amount of gravitational pull evenly across it's entire surface...just as you would have on two sides of an ocean.

Dinsdale has insisted many times that it is wrong.
Despite being asked many times to tell me what he thinks the the correct information is, he has never done so.
And in fact he humiliated himself terribly a few weeks ago on this very issue.

The Earth has a radius of approximately 3965 miles. Using the Pythagorean theorem, that calculates to an average curvature of 7.98 inches per mile or approximately 8 inches per mile (squared).

This is correct?

Is the Eratosthenes experiment your supposed "testable and repeatable proof" of curving water at a rate of 8 inches per mile squared?

LOL

BUILT INTO the asinine stick "experiment" is that ASSumption that the sun is 93 million miles away -- and is producing rays which are perpendicular to the earth.

Maybe the sun is close and the rays are not hitting perpendicular to the earth.

*poof*

The whole dumb thing is based on an ASSumption.

Water must begin to curve on your globe long before 1 mile (5280 ft).

It must curve at 1/10 of a mile (500 ft) and sooner.

500 ft (a bit less than two football fields) -- what is the water curvature and what is your mathematical formula for it?
And where is your experiment that shows this curving water in accordance with your formula?
