They beat Uconn last night.

Maybe Pearl can keep everybody healthy this year.

Reality check tonight.

Freshmen choked away a big lead at home to fucking Georgia in front of a sellout crowd.

Same old same old.

If no one has been paying attention... the Ducks are mowing down everything in their path.

And does 10-2 in the SEC mean something?

Auburn is 12-1 this year without their two best players.

But their first conference game is Tennessee.

I predict a 10 game losing streak.

And of course, bammer breaks the streak, and without their best player.

Good ol' Auburn.

So how good is Allbarn? Haven't seen them play at all, but I see they are being projected as a 1 seed. I hope MSU gets their region, or Virginia's. Would rather avoid Villanova/Xavier/Duke.

If they make it more than 2 rounds, I'll be shocked.

Speed but no size.

Losing a starting forward to a dislocated ankle doesn't help, either. :(

I saw the title of this thread and figured it was Melty's mea culpa. "Auburn Board Bitch".

Sudden Sam wrote:That was a helluva run by Auburn. I couldn't help myself...I really enjoyed their run through KU, UNC and UK. I was certain that the Heels would end their tournament...Kentucky, too. Unreal. The Tigers are fun to watch (something we've not had in Tuscaloosa for quite a while).

Tough way to lose a game, for sure. I can't even recall the last time Harper had missed a FT 'til he missed with 7 seconds left. Seems no one picked up on the double dribble 'til after the fact. That was a killer. But that last foul was definitely a foul and that Guy kid was nails at the line.

Tough loss, but a helluva season.

Not winning it all might make it easier for AU fans when the NCAA comes down on Pearl and AU has to forfeit all 30 wins.
I’m hoping Pearl has learned his lesson by now...
Those guys never learn.

Looking good again this year.

So, when's that NCAA hammer gonna drop?

I wouldn't worry too much. Things are trending towards player empowerment, getting paid, etc. Still can't believe Auburn was that close to playing for a title last year. They probably should have beaten Virginia, but UVA got so many fortunate breaks on their run last year. That's usually the recipe for winning it all, equal parts good and lucky. I'd love to see MSU play Auburn in the Final Four.

But LSU has a pretty decent team, as long as they can stay healthy.

March will be here soon enough.......

Kentucky coming to AU as a 8.5 point underdog.

ESPN Gameday at Neville, one of the top arenas in CBB and it only holds 9,000.

Good times on the Plains, Pearl has worked miracles with this program.

EDIT: well, shit.
