And he stole his take from the great expert on firearms... Hillary Clinton.

Unless a gun is firing subsonic rounds (like a .22 Short), a suppressor knocks a few decibels off -- at the expense of muzzle velocity. And if one was standing at the back of a runway while a 747 was taking off, you'd still hear the gunshot just fine. From the little we know, dude was mostly shooting .223 somewhere between 300-400 yards. A suppressor probably would have made a .223 largely ineffective from that range. A 7.62x39 (AK47) shoots a larger bullet, but at a slower velocity, which would make it very difficult to do much at 400 yards.

I have seen a .22 Short shot through a suppressed pistol (legally owned). It is indeed very quiet (but still doesn't sound anything like what the movies portray), but I doubt it would be very effective at killing people, since it hits like a nice pellet gun.

It's kinda funny you responded that way after you have laid down some pretty heavy sarcasm in this thread.

Use your words, Little Fella.

I'll try and help where your grade school teachers so obviously failed -- if a sentence/clause begins with "if," then it will most likely contain the word "then" at some point.

Glad I could help, Mushmouth.

They say he had two bump fire stocks. You can see one on the ground there in the first two pics. He could have been changing them out on different rifles. It doesn't much time if they're ready to go and there is no reason to assume they weren't. He also had a whole fucking suitcase full of surefire 60 round mags.

Right. Guess you didn't know the part where he had fertilizer & bomb-making items in his car. Your pitiful stupidity never ceases to amaze.
Except that he didn't. If he did, he should have just kamikazied a truck bomb into the venue. He could have tripled his body count. He was also a pilot, so he could have packed all that shit into a plane and crashed it into the crowd.
