perfect! it seems kind of self-gay, but i like (and enjoy) watching everything that guy does.

2. i have a question for you, JCT. but it's not about Edible Leary, or Magnum PI or anything like that. It's about something else. Something very dorky.

Please check in when you are available to answer.

TIA.

no, not that. besides, we are horoscopically challenged, you and me.

what do you think about those Scions ?

not neccessarily for you, i know. but what about for someone like me ?

is that a throwaway car ? with a 30 minute commute to and fro every day, plus all the mommy bullshit - do you think that's a smart purchase ?
will it handle the wear and tear ?

shitty people, stay out of this conversation.

Not a clue about them. All I know is that one model looks like a brick with wheels.

Made by Toyota, I think, but apparently does not measure up to Toyota's usually impeccable quality standards.

But Edmund's likes them...

I'm an info hound. If I don't know something already, I'm compelled to look it up.

Similar to what Nissan did years ago by realeasing their cars under the Datsun name. They did it to help avoid any backlash on their company if sales on their cars flopped in America. This way Toyota is sperated from the Scion name if something happens. (Although everyone knows its them)

!zzubevol- I have 3 friends that each bought one (one of each model).. and they are very happy with them. But like Mikey said- they're not up to normal Toyota standards- but still pretty decent. Shit will still only break half as much time as Ford or Chevy.
Yeah fuckers.... I'm back

Scions were created to fill a niche in the market for younger car buyers
who find the Toyota nameplate too stodgy.

Thought I'd get this in before it gets moved to the Automotive forum. :P

I think FX has eclipsed ABC for quality shows. Nip Tuck, Rescue Me and The Shield kick almost everyone of ABC's shows ass.

Do you mean, they actually run something other than "Fear Factor" reruns? :P

They've got a new mini-series coming up called Oil Shock or something like that that sounds interesting.
