Spring game!

Post by WolverineSteve »

I'm headed to AA in the morning to see this year's spring game. In recent years the "spring game" has been part scrimmage, part punt off. Enter Harbaugh. This year the two coordinators held a draft to choose up sides and we're having a bonafide spring game! It's supposed to be low 50's and sunny...perfect football weather. Let's put the pads on and see what these guys can do. The usual crowd is about 20k...with the Harbaugh hype, expect 70k plus. I know that's nothing compared to the south, including Columbus, but there is other shit to do on a Saturday round here.

When is your team's spring game and are you going?

Any of the tOSU fans going to their spring game?

If so, message me, tOSU is having an equipment/jersey/etc sale, and interested in one of those hockey helmets they are getting rid of. Cost 1/5th of what they would brand new. Cool keepsake for the mancave.

Sounds funny, but if the weather looks to be crappy next Saturday, I'll consider going to MSU's spring game. If it's 70 and sunny then I'll probly take the bike up north and hit the trails. It's tough for me to get jacked over a spring game. They're more about getting a look at the incoming freshmen imo. I'm interested in seeing LJ Scott, power RB out of Ohio. He should definitely get some carries this year. Things are pretty well set at WR, TE, QB, and OL. Defensively, MSU's front 7 is absolutely loaded this year. I'm more interested in seeing some of the younger guys in the secondary, as that whole unit is a bit of a question mark heading into the 2015 season.

What were the final spring game attendance tallies? Nebraska ended up with nearly 80,000 in paid attendance for their spring game. Heard Michigan was way up.
