Holy shit. Siegel-Schwall? I used to see them live in a local bar in the mid-70s for a 75 cent cover charge. Phenomenal live show. Corky Siegel was an incredible harp player. Last I heard, he was doing some stuff with classical music. Jim Schwall still plays with a local blues band. Saw him at a street festival this past summer.

Damn, I wish you guys could engineer some podcasts.

I first heard "Leavin'" on Alligator Records 20th Anniversary CD, and thought it was one of the best tracks on it. I've since gotten more of their material and really like them.

BarFlie and I have tried to figure out ways to have recorded shows linked to a site or otherwise made available for those who want to listen whenever they want. I'm not smart enough to figure out how to do it. I have a few shows recorded (none recently), but if there is a way to have them played back over the Web, I'll record the shows and link 'em up. Any suggestions on how to do it?

Last night's show ended a little after 1:00 AM with 5 or 6 listeners still in the room, which is pretty unusual. I usually wait til almost everyone has bailed before I sign off, but I mentioned to 'em last night that I had an appointment (9:00 AM) to go to, so I ended the show. I normally do sleep in a little longer on Saturdays, though.

I think it's pretty cool, too. Who signed in as "bowe" last night? I'll try to help whoever it was get sound. Same with Dinsdale - he couldn't get sound. If I can get the steps taken to correct the problem, I'll post them.

I got the beeps and whatnot of the chat. But the radio itself was a no-go -- the Flash shit with the volume control and stuff wouldn't load. Reinstalled Flash, to no avail, and have no other problems with any Flash related stuff (beyond the usual "everything Adobe makes sucks ass").

There's an extended "dead spot" (~90 seconds) near the beginning of the show that's the result of the iodot deejay not knowing how to do his job. Pray for him, forgive him, and fast forward through it for maximum enjoyment.

yeah, but I scored #50 on the set list, taking advantage of that.

He and samjessher both seem like good dudes. Not sure but I think they're Smackie's brothers or some relation.

Great show, we're very fortunate to be able to tune in and enjoy.
