One of those drug related arrests was our former congressional representative. His resignation late last year set in motion a crazy scenario for folks who wanted that seat in Congress. Clawson won a 4 way Republican primary that was marked by extremely annoying attack ads by PAC's for at least three of the candidates. Clawson spent over $1 million on ads for himself which were not attacks ads, but added to the clutter on TV in the past weeks. Now this is what's ahead for Mr. Clawson and the folks in the 19th Congressional District:
Curt Clawson will face Democrat April Freeman and Libertarian Ray Netherwood in the June 24 special election. That will be quickly followed by the regular Aug. 26 primary and Nov. 4 general election. I'll probably be wearing out the MUTE on my remote.
