Total reversal on Ndamukong Suh...
I don't think that I have ever done a 180 on a player like I have on Ndamukong Suh.
During his Sr year and thru the first NFL season Suh was someone that everyone could look up to. He is well spoken and smiles, made the largest donation by a former Nebraska player prior to even being drafted, and did a ton to help kids in his native Portland. Hell, pretty much everyone was rooting for him to make that extra point that he attempted back in 2010.
I lobbied hard for our State FCA group to bring him in to speak at the kickoff breakfast prior to the 2011 season.
Shortly thereafter though his true colors began to show. He was flagged for 9 personal fouls in his first two NFL seasons. Just shy of the all time record for 2 seasons. Then we started seeing the crazy violent part of the guy. First it was the stomping incident in 2011, then the groin kick in 2012 and now the hit to the knees in 2013. Maybe even worse was his denial of the stomp.
Now when he speaks I just instantly tune him out. He can try to rationalize all he wants, but nothing can explain his history. Worse, he continues to work with kids in the Portland area and talks about personal responsibility and being a leader. Basically, do what I say, not what I do.
Here's hoping he can change his ways and that he continues to be generous with his money, but just go away.

Getting liquored up and hitting Mach1 on crowded downtown streets sure does a ton to help the kids.

Forgot about that one. Prolly doesn't help the kids so much on that one. Just another do what I say, not what I do.

no surprise to me, I could see he was a total punk when he played at Nebraska against Mizzou. Just like I could see Kevin Durant was a class act in his brief college career.

Right up until the coach asked him to pass the ball. A guy who got double-teamed every play couldn't eke out a half-an-assist a game? That's Hall of Shame material. A more "me me me" palyer is hard to find.
BUT, when you put it in the big picture of the Aaron Hernandezes of the world, Urant doesn't really rate on the Douchescale.

Actually he averaged almost one and a half assists per game in college.
Unless, you are calling the AP, the Naismith award and UT all liars, you need to check your numbers.

Re: Total reversal on Ndamukong Suh...
As a Lion guy.....It's hard to root for Suh. During his rookie year he had moments of dominance and the town fell in love with him. He was all over with endorsements and such. He started to get some mental mistake personal foul calls against and some were marginal, one could say reputation calls. He once drew a unnecessary roughness flag for a two handed shove on Cuntler when he was running beyond the line of scrimmage (free game, no?). No doubt he earned the rep with the stomp and playing hacky sack with Schaub last year, but penalties should be black and white. The biggest problem I have with his latest brain fart was that it was so far away from the action. A block, clean or dirty, was useless. he cost the Loins a score, and scores are far to rare for them to give away.

When you listen to Suh speak, he sounds reasonably intelligent and self-aware. But on the field, he's one of the dumbest motherfuckers to ever suit up and play the game. I mean, like a car with square wheels stupid.

And to think he picked corn over Cal... for a suitcase full of money.
His reasoning and explanation, is still one of the funniest things I've ever heard in the recruiting process.
