Approximately a day after Walter Lee Williams was placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list, the alleged sexual predator was caught in a Mexican resort town, the FBI said today.

Williams, 64, who is accused of engaging in sex acts via webcam and in person with underage boys in the Philippines, was drinking coffee near a park in the Caribbean resort town of Playa del Carmen, Mexico, when authorities swooped in Tuesday to make the arrest, The Associated Press reported.

The FBI's Los Angeles office spokeswoman, Laura Eimiller, told ABCNews.com further information would be available at a news conference scheduled for this afternoon.

The FBI said Williams was a former professor at the University of Southern California, where he specialized in anthropology, history and gender studies, according to a search of the school's directory.

He is charged with one count of producing child pornography, one count of traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places, according to a statement from the Department of Justice.

According to officials, Williams met the underage boys online and engaged in sex acts with each of them over a webcam. In January 2011, he traveled to the country where he had allegedly had sex with the boys and even "produced sexually explicit photos" of one of them, according to the DOJ.

On Monday, Williams became the 500th person to be placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list.

"I analyzed the computers and the camera that belong to Williams and found child pornography," Jeff Yesensky, FBI special agent, said in a video posted online Monday to bring awareness to the case.

"Because of his status, he has the means and access to children, and that's what makes him dangerous," Yesensky said. "He preys on the most vulnerable children."

He was born North Carolina (Not a Trojan), he was raised in Atlanta (Not a Trojan), he did not attend USC (Not a Trojan), he went to school at UNC Chapel Hill (makes him a Tarheel, not a Trojan). He was fired from USC 2 years ago and was only there a few years. He was hired when USC was asked to diversify their faculty and was part of the wave of liberal professors hired in the 2000's. He also taught at UCLA, Cincinnati, North Carolina.... At USC he taught Native American History and Gender Studies and was openly gay. He is a Queer from the South East, raised in Georgia, educated in North Carolina and I bet the fucker even says "y'all". He is a Tar Heel and a gay rights activist but the liberal media will get more readers if they label him as a member of a conservative University like USC, especially when they are all quoting the ucLA Times. He was never a Trojan.

The college athlete life is a good one. My daughter is on a soccer scholarship. The biggest benefit is graduating college with no debt. Congrats to your son. Don't know if you mentioned but where is he going?
