Off To The Right Coast, Biatches...
Flying into BUF overnight, and hitting Western NY, Cooperstown, Beantown, and NYC.
Any decent places to eat around those places?
PET to possibly follow.

While in Buffalo, you might just want to try this dish where they slather all sorts of spicey shit on substandard cuts of chicken. I think they call them Buffalo wings.
There is a place in Utica, Ny called Zebb's that has pertty awesome wings. There is absolutely no other reason to visit that godforesaken shithole.

My favorite thing to do in NYC is simply walk down Broadway and watch the freakshow. Ride the subway for the freakshow on steroids.

In NYC, go to the MoMA and/or the Met. Either one will blow you away.

As for food, you can have pretty much anything imaginable. I'd recommend something dago in little italy which is pretty much morphed into chinatown these days.

No need to stop in Utica, there's a Zebb's in Buffalo. Doing the baseball HOF in Cooperstown? Have fun.

Hey now. I'd smack you, if that wasn't fact-based. Like Seattle is much better for freaklessness.
To answer the question: No. I believe they outlawed food in NY. I doubt there's a deece restaurant anywhere.

Rumor has it there are these things called Buffalo wings in Buffalo. No idea why.Diego in Seattle wrote:Flying into BUF overnight, and hitting Western NY, Cooperstown, Beantown, and NYC.

In NYC as there are no good restaurants at all as Dins said... Now for you in particular I can recommend a gerbil substitute for your way of ingesting those furry creatures for pleasure and also nourishment. They have these street vendors on carts with umbrellas that say Sabrett on them.
Order about 3 or for of those street hog dogs, discard the buns and "ingest" them the same way you do with toys and gerbils. You can't go wrong. Glad I could help.

There are Zebb's locations all over upstate NY. Two locations in Rochester and two locations in Buffalo I can think of off the top of my head, and maybe more. One need not go to Utica to eat there.smackaholic wrote:There is a place in Utica, Ny called Zebb's that has pertty awesome wings. Might wanna try John's Pizzeria in the Theater District on W. 44th St. It occupies what used to be a church; the seats are old pews, and the stained-glass windows are still in place. Basically just traded one group of dagos for another; it's like going to Mass, without the sodomy. Thin crust pizza is a might tastier than the Body of Christ, too.
If your tastes lean more toward Old Testament fare, try Katz's Deli, where the famous "I'll have what she's having" scene from "When Harry Met Sally" was shot. Great Reubens & pastrami sammiches.

Much better freak show on St. Mark's Place in the East Village. And while you're there, check out Paul's Burgers for lunch or Death & Company for the best mixed drinks in town. Then make sure to go to Elephant & Castle for breakfast. And probably Scarpetta for dinner. So, after further review, the ruling in the thread is confirmed -- Missjo is still a dumbass.
Then again, if you take any sort of food advice from someone who brags up their healthy eating, yet manages to maintain an obese physique, you're probably a dumbass, too.

Sounds a bit limited. Not exactly a gourmet myself, but I don't suppose there are any Protestant bagel options for anti-semites? No 'Edward VIII' type deli's
