What is a mvscal? Why is Sam Sudden?

If I learn at least ONE thing in this thread, I'll consider it a success.

kcdave was taken at the time I registered at SC III, much to my chagrin.

So, being a huge NASCAR fan, I came up with the completely idiotic nic I've toted around for a decade and change.... a War Wagon being the vehicle the crew chief sits on during races in case you didn't know.

"Ana Ng" is my favorite They Might Be Giants song.

Pretty simple.

My real name is Angie. "NG".

mvscal = mission viejo southern california. Fucker got into the cups late one night about 30,000 posts ago and outed himself.

"Truman" is an amazingly creative nod to my home state's university mascot. Suppose I coulda gone with "lesmo", but I'm positive that would've led to endless, Marty-inspired, KC Scott-like pile-ons. Not that you care.

It seems every girl I know or have heard of accesses the internet solely by a "smart phone" of all things. The Dinsdale reference was a Monty Python skit... if you've ever heard of those guys.

Mine? I keep it simple. I signed up for Smackchat after watching these fools for months and joined in January 2000 as "zztop." Why? I couldn't come up with a nic. I saw the band live and it was one of the best concerts ever back when I lived in San Diego

These stupid time-waster boards have evolved and a buddy of mine used to rent the mini house in the back yard of Lindsay Wagner's mom's house. The next door neighbor is the home of Eddie Van Halen and the same type mini house in the back is now called the 5150 recording studio. So, since I have one of his old guitars and some old equipment, I signed up as the Atomic Punk.

Not usually, although I do have a pegleg... along with my two regular ones.

As far as the emoticonthingy, way back when, someone tried to pass off a pic of Paul Giamatti as me, and it worked on a surprisingly large chunk of the people.

Things grew from there.

Ahhh, okay. I had asked ST a while back if he knew what you looked like, and he told me "Paul Giamanti".

I kept picturing your face all blood red and yelling, "You're the motherfucking antichrist"!!!

Actually, I look nothing like Paul Giamatti, except maybe the hairline (which was the origin of the gag), and I'm not particularly excitable.

Nickname from my softball playing days.

One year we deicided to get jerseys made up for our team. The white trash idiot we trusted the job to chose Olde English fonts for the names on the back.

Image

Observe the upper case "I". If you aren't paying attention, it sort of looks like a "J". Enough people asked me why my name was Rjck that my teammates stared trying to call me by this vowel-less name. That morphed into being pronounced as R-Jack and it stuck

Now I want to here the story about how Jon got his internet handle.

My nic is short for Brian in Smackchester. Back in the old SC I days you used to have to type out your nic on every post. You kids have it easy these days. You make me sick.

Mikey was my favorite hamster, which I accidentally killed with a pickaxe when I was in third grade.

Actually, my original nic in SC III, around '97 or '98, was Mikey_Likes_It. It was lame but I was a newbie at the time. My avatar was a kid eating Life cereal. Since then I've just shortened it, though in most message boards or anywhere else I try to sign up the name is already taken.

Paul Allen has mistaken me for this dickhead Marcus Halberstram. It seems logical because Marcus also works at P&P and in fact does the same exact thing I do and he also has a penchant for Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses.

Marcus and I even go to the same barber, although I have a slightly better haircut.
