World Series 2010

Post by Yer a Fuckin Jerkoff »

Not sure how much home field will play a role.....Texas loses another bat in the lineup for the first two and we'll see how that plays out. The Giants are just losers who can't get it done. I mean 56 years and no title. I can see them having a nice 2-1 lead or something in this series and then choking. I didn't see Linecum dominate in the NLCS and he may get grazed some tonight too. We've seen fluky ass one-and-done franchises win titles but then again we did see the Red Sox and White Sox break long droughts so I don't know. Fuck it I'll go with the better managed team. Ron Washington is bound to fuck up at least one game all by himself so I will say Giants in 7.

Lee has to win the duels with Lincecum. I don't see the Rangers winning the series without winning the games Lee starts. The Giants have the better rotation and if the Rangers can't win the games thrown by their ace...they'll have a hard time stealing those other games. Plus, the games in 'Frisco where the Rangers lose Vlad from the lineup and get the pitcher. Vlad will be a great weapon to have as a pinch hitter though. How I see this shaking out...the Rangers get a split in the first two at PNC and then taking 2-of-3 at home before finishing it in Game 6 back by the bay.

Rangers in 6
MVP--Lee (2 wins and a sub-1.00 ERA)

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Well, that lasted about as long as Lebron's 82-0 season.

Heading to SF tomorrow morning through Friday for some training.

Monday night I'll be hanging with my best friend from HS at his house in Portola Valley. Big Gnats fan since before most of you were born. I hope they clinch on Monday so I can celebrate with him and the OL. If it goes to game 6 he'll be at the game, but I'll be left out in the cold. Hopefully I'll be able to find someplace for dinner, etc. close to where I'm staying downtown where there are some interested people cheering for the home team.

It'll be fun getting together with my old buddy for the WS. We cut a week of our senior year in HS together to see the A's and Reds in the '72 series. That was a cool adventure. We drove across the Dumbarton Bridge and then took the first (and only at the time) BART line from Walnut Creek to the Coliseum. Got to see three games and one rainout. Tickets were $15.00 each in advance for right field bleachers.

yep GG giants. I loved the giants when Clark was with em..hated em with Bonds but i had a small soft spot for em in the series.

As a Rangers fan it stinks we didnt win the series but in the end it was still a historical year for the team and great things to come as long as Nolan is with the team!
