Talk of the Big 10 forming their own league at that point. I hope not, as I'd just as soon the Badgers stayed in the premier league. Let PSU start out in one of those minor leagues with Kalamazoo Tech and whatnot.

I don't think the Big 11 conference will happen sooner rather than later. The trump card is the BTN dropping cash on the hockey schools. That out of the equation is SOMEONE amongst the Big 11 hockey schools has to be the bitch in 6 team league. OSU is the only suitable character in this scenario. Have to imagine Minn and Wisc love their perch upon the WCHA. Same with MSU and scU-M.

Friday was not good news for tweener schools like Western Michigan, Ferris State, Lake Superior, Bowling Green, etc.

I remember playing Penn State when we hosted the ACHA Championships in 1996. They had some pretty good players then.

Must be nice to have a benefactor willing to pony up that cash.
