it's bitter sweet..i REALLY don't like giving up Smoak..especially while getting Lee who'll be a FA at year's end.

Maybe the best deal the Rangers have ever made. A PROVEN talent that hasn't disappointed in his starts for the Rangers so far. He hasn't gotten much run support so far but he'll draw the oppositions ace every time. And every time out, Lee has been outstanding.

Even for a franchise that wouldn't be amok in ownership confusion, this is a huge deal. And for the Rangers....it's mammoth. This is easily the best balanced team the Rangers have ever had......and they were pretty damn good back in the late 90's. Only reason they didn't get further is that they ran into some of the best teams the Yankees ever had. But for this team to be this good amidst an ownership nightmare, it's pretty amazing.
