What did you people get for Xmas?
Surpirised to see we haven't had the booty call yet.
The Wife got me some clothes and the kids got me a tie
Oldest son got me Balvenie 17, My Father -in-Law got me the Glen Taite 10 and My Boss sent me the Oban 14:
I'm pretty easy to shop for these days
I've had the Oban before and liked it a lot - but the Balvenie was WOW - even better than the McCallen 18 I got last year.
The Glen Taite is pretty good, but not gonna displace the first two.
What was the haul for you jizz mopping imbeciles?

She let me stick it in her ass.
Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
I got a new watch, aquamarine (it's my birthstone) earrings, necklace, and bracelet. A few Amazon gift cards, etc.
Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
Wait, you guys are only now learning about Ricky, Bubbles and Julian?
We were watching TPB 4 years ago at least.
"Freedom 35" is a classic.
Hell, their new show and gimmick also starring a member of :tomasmothsmilieface: Rush looks to be almost as good.
The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour.
Premieres 2010

Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
Got a Keurig coffee machine from the wife. Love it.
Also got a new golf bag (well, a gift certificate so I can pick my own out) and a new watch along with some clothes.
Most important, we picked out a couple big gifts for my son and when he asked Santa for what he wanted, he asked for what we already had gotten him. My best present was the look on his face when he opened up his new desk and real computer. He is into playing office.

It's not often I watch "new" comedies because I'm always so disappointed. But I watched the Rush and Conky episodes online...pretty funny stuff.
Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
In that price range, Oban is tough to beat -- nectar of the dieties.
As for me... I got a hummer... and I have a vague drunken rcollection of sticking it up her ass, too.
But I didn't get any rifles or scotch.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
I think a Keurig coffee machine, or at least the one I got, costs around $130 if you want to skip rent this month.
You're welcome.

I received a lifetime membership and a 20oz Glass Mug with Jackster etched in the side from
http://www.sequoiabrewing.com/
which entiltles me to a free beer everyday and $1.00 beers after the free one as long as I stay a member and not sell off my membership in the club. 20% off anything on the menu as well. The mug is always in the chiller waiting for my arrival. The brewery is about a half mile away and a short walk. Outstanding beer and great deal. Pints are normally 3 dollars on happy hour and 5 regular, I should have the membership paid off soon enough... :D

For all you Wii owners here's a list of the top games - at least one sites opinion: http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=6342

Picked up the new Wii Super Mario Bros for Jill my middle child, it brings back some old memories and is hella fun with 4 players. A must for ole skool Nintendo gamers, what else can you beat your kid at?... :P
Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
Wifey got me:
- Garmin Edge 500 bike computer
- Five rugby shirts from Ralph Lauren (Polo)
I'm also getting a Zipp 900 disc rear/Zipp 808 front wheel for my triathlon bike. Probably means zilch to all but one of you but that's $3,000 worth of bike wheels to get my Ironman on. Yes, my bike is worth about $9,000. Flame on!!!
All due respect and love to my wife for putting up with such trivial pursuits. I spend 15-20 hours a week training - like it was a fucking part-time job.
Peace!

Agreed.... if you could actually see it, that is. Talked to some peeps afterwards who sat in the bleachers and in RF boxes. They couldn't see shit. They watched the game from the beer lines, mostly.jiminphilly wrote:Great game to see.. rack Boston for the late heroics.
Funniest part of the day was listening to James Taylor do the National Anthem. He must have been cocked off his ass. Or maybe he's just old and feeble and can't sing for shit. I think Roseanne Barr did a better rendition, it was that bad.
Re: What did you people get for Xmas?
A Kindle, a bunch of cold weather clothes, a trip to NY/NJ where we made whirlwind visits to:
The Met
MOMA
Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Annex
The Nutcracker, performed by the NYC Ballet
Rockefeller Plaza at night
various amazing restaurants
great visits with two branches of extended family
possible PET to follow later this week...

RE: Taylor.. probably a bit of both. Then again it was pretty damn cold in the NE corridor for the past week so I would have Irished my coffee too to keep from freezing. Taylor was bad but the half-time show of the Super Bowl is going to be downright awful. I can't wait to hear the CSI theme song for the umpteenth time.
