Mick McCarthy, Wolves

Post by Dr_Phibes »

anyone see this game? McCarthy pulled his entire outfield vs United during the week. I thought WTF, but am now wishing everyone did it - it would shake things up a bit. Now the FA is asking Wolverhampton for an explanation?

Wolves should tell the FA to get fucked, by what right can they possibly question McCarthy on team selection and why is he obligated to answer to anyone? What a joke.

not that big of a deal... it's not like it was a youth team. united does that through most of their domestic cup ties.

every single one of the Wolves players had already played at least one first team match and 6 were full international players.

wenger, like always, needs to go fuck himself.

All Wolves did was play the game of highlighting the lack of competition in the premier league, not by their first team almost inevitably getting beat at Old Trafford, but by basically saying there was no point in trying.
No doubt the premiership have had their eye on this since West Brom did it against Chelsea a couple of seasons back. It's the tip of the iceberg, you could possibly have all of the bottom half of the league fielding weak teams against the top four.
