In the theoretical possibility sense? I suppose so. Not very likely, of course.

Sorry, I have been to Sydney multiple times, but didn't see 50% of the population with tats.

To each their own when it comes to inking themselves, but it certainly puts those with many in a subset. Neck, hand, leg, tats make someone unemployable for many jobs. I have ended an interview after about 30 seconds because the candidate would not be able to cover the tat on her hand. Employee handbook states no tats to be seen while at work.

On a canvas, hanging on your wall, sure.

On the human body? It's graffiti. On a female's body, especially in the form of sleeves, and other "whole area" coverings? It's an outright abortion. You might as well walk around with placenta and Cheerios on your shoulder hock.
he encourages me to explore what I want as far as tattoos go , & thinks it adds to my hotness in his eyes & his eyes are the only ones that matter to me.
Great. That'll serve you well, say, in five years, when he's long gone and the next twenty guys and girls you meet all instantly dismiss you as a psychological train wreck.

As you get older you'll be relegated to picking solely from a dwindling group of similar train wrecks, as nobody else will seriously consider being with a walking billboard of low self esteem.

You do realize this "soul mate" of yours won't be with you, five years from now, right?? Certainly not ten years from now. You're going to look like a bruised, fucked up avocado, for what?? He'll be off pounding some younger, dumber version of you, and you'll be stuck perusing through the human equivalents of the music cassettes bin at the local truck stop.
I doubt I will get a great deal more ,but I LOVE the ones I have now & have NO regrets on any of them. Where I live here in Sydney every second person you see has ink so it's more socially acceptable here.
Same sorta phenomenon occurs at a leper colony. What, you don't think you're grouping together, intentionally, like any other group of lemmings?

It's "cute," now. It won't be, though, when you're all 40 and you've grown out of this silly, self destructive phase. Then, you'll simply be met with a lot of damning looks, which will look a lot like this...

Sounds like more of an overall vision problem. Maybe you can only see women short enough not to be obscured by your sheepdog hairdo?

How would this involuntarily happen? I am intrigued and need more of your insight and wisdom. Let's flesh out some possible scenarios:

* Kidnapped by Somali pirates and forced to get tat at gunpoint.
* Wife gives you an ultimatum... eat out her rhino snatch that reeks of feces and beer farts or get tat.
* Donald Trump offers you one million dollars and a chance to rehabilitate that water-head-special-needs-half-breed kid of yours if you get tat.

How am I doing?

worried Susan will trade you in for a younger hotter model

James & I have been together for 5 years, I wear his ring, I own his heart & I know it
we own a house together, have built a life together & fall in love more with each other every day,
we complete the missing pieces in each other & sicken everyone around us with our googiness
So now that has not now nor will ever be an issue for me

Umm Van I'll be 40 in 8 months, luckily I don't look it

Both of us work in industries where our tattoos are no problem what so ever
Our Ink is easily covered up when we want it & visible when we want it
The areas I have artwork on are the lesser likely areas to sag in a hurry ,
if they do one day who cares, I don't, James doesn't, so why should it bother somebody I will never ever meet :?
Besides I'm lucky, I have really good skin
which has great elasticity & heals really well I don't even get a single scab after getting a tattoo.
& when the day comes that gravity has it's way I'll just wear longer sleeves :P

Jesus, we have been on these boards a long time, haven't we?? Hard to believe, that you're now pushing forty. Time stands still here. You were closer to thirty when this all began. Shit, I was in my mid thirties back then.
