Is any one loss team really dead at this point?

I'll agree with Michigan though...their last game of the season will be at Columbus. No bowl for them and MichiganFan is going to let RichRod hear about it all spring leading into next year.

Shoalzie, while their dreams of an endefeated season are over, history has shown us that a one loss team can still win the national championship, and if OU, LSU, or MU would win the rest of their games, then they still could end up playing for a crystal football.

That undefeated group in the Big XII South will be interesting to watch and see which team can survive that gauntlet and possibly one of those teams emerge unbeaten. Out of Texas, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech...I'd bet on Texas but don't leave out Oklahoma in the discussion for winning that division as well. You'll probably see Kansas or Missouri win the North Division with one loss perhaps and I'd consider either of them "alive".

In the SEC, Alabama is the last unbeaten since LSU and Vanderbilt fell on Saturday. Given the MEATGRINDER, I think we'll see a one-loss team come out of the SEC. The Tide could be taken down on an off day...it damn near happened last week at home against Kentucky.

In the Pac-10, you have probably the USC-Cal winner emerging from there with one loss...the best bet is on USC to run the table in their conference games and finish 11-1.

I haven't even mentioned Penn State with how good they've looked so far. They still have huge games left with Ohio State and Michigan State. I think JoePa shakes the whammy against the Wolverines and destroy them in Happy Valley. I think they've got the best shot of the remaining BCS unbeatens to stay unbeaten. There's no guarantee that all of the unbeatens in the Big XII South survive the year beating each other up.
