Who's making the decisions for Wie?
She can't beat the ladies....so she continues to enter PGA events.....and who is being denied that entry spot....She does have gams tho....
What happens when you get the multi-billion dollar corporations - Big Tech, Big Pharma, foreign money, etc., able to form collaboration with politicians susceptible to corruption via payouts and power with the media which controls the messaging to the population of the country?

Something tells me Nike has a good deal to do with her getting these exemptions.

It's got a lot more to do with the Reno-Tahoe event being opposite a major and the tournament director being desperate for some free publicity. Nike's role is to pressure her to take the exemption.MuchoBulls wrote:Something tells me Nike has a good deal to do with her getting these exemptions.

Loses her card? She doesn't have a card to lose. She gets 7 sponsor exemptions on the LPGA tour per year. She's used 6 of them already. Her plan was to ride sponsors exemptions this year to a card next year. Now she's looking at LPGA Q School unless she finishes at least 3rd or higher in her next event.Felix wrote:ftfyBSmack wrote:Nike's role is to milk their "postergirl" for every cent until such time that she loses her card on the LPGA Tour and fades into oblivion at which time they'll sever their contract with her

I tend to watch a lot of Golf Channel while riding the exercise bike. They've been talking all week about the pros and cons of Wie taking the Reno/Tahoe exemption.Felix wrote:obviously i'm not as up to the minute on womens golf as you are

Long story short, she needed an event to fill the gap between the State Farm tournament she just DQed in and the Canadian Women's Open that is her last gasp chance to earn a tour card before Q-School sectionals in September. Yea, that's right, she will more likely than not have to go through sectional qualifying.
And somewhere out there Steve Dumig is laughing.

Before you throw dirt on her, she did look serviceable this past tourney she d-q'd...If she can lose her schizo old man, find some golf guru, a decent caddy, etc...I'd buy some shares of her stock.....

Yes, he has so far been spot on about Wie. Of course she's still earning 7 figures in endorsement money. I suppose the worst case scenario would be for her to go back to Stanford and get her degree.MuchoBulls wrote:Don't you mean drinking?
