Jack White is a badass guitarist

Post by MiketheangrydrunkenCUfan »

Seriously. I just bought the Under Blackpool Lights DVD, and the dude tears it up. I know there was a big backlash when he got voted something like #17 in Rolling Stone's list of all-time best guitarists. I agree that's a little high, but dude seriously shreds and he seems to have the right influences too.

I know it'll probably never happen, but I'd love to hear what the guy could do with a bassist, rythym guitarist, and real drummer.

Isn't he in a whole lot of trouble for that nightclub fire?

She didnt smile at you did she? Shes an ok drummer. She just doesnt seem comfortable on stage. I saw the White Stripes at coachella, and Meg had that "How long do we have to play'? look on her face.

she rarely smiles, that way she seems, i think she actually is.
she seems dull, introverted too.
but i think expecting her to be otherwise
is part of that whole ghey hollywood thing
which i don't buy into.

so called normal people aren't perky and chipper and super nice,
at every moment. y'know what i mean ?
i think it's not right to expect someone, because they happen to be
famous, to be some droid that operates at prozac happy all the time.
just sayen...

my gf/neighbor does jack's hair and eh, he talks to my kid, sometimes.

the last time i saw meg was at a record store, i was
rummaging through the indie used vinyl, i'm cheap.
she was being cheap too <funny>

i've been sweet on them for years, just a loyalist i guess.

ps: and remember that thug stint JW pulled on the von bondies kid
at the Magic Stick, year or two ago ?

it was unneccessarily brutal.
he beat that kid the fuck down.
i was drunk as fuck, and i still remember...

No, no, no. You're thinking of Mike Tramp.
Jack Russell, moron. Singer of Great White. Subpar band, yes, but not nearly as low on the creative totem pole as the White Stripes. Tramp sang for White Lion. Just to round out the argument, the lead singer of Whitesnake was and is Mr. Kitaen the First. Thank you.
