Segment 1 Results

Post by Mac22 »

segments will look like this:
one - 8 races
two - 9 races
three - 9 races
chase - 10 races

that way you suffer less with the losers you picked in the first segment (even though i haven't won in 4 years or so...)
as always, check the math, especially this first week so i know i have everything straight on the spreadsheet.

of course, major props to Penske Racing. i've waited a long time for Roger to have true success in this race, since i grew up a RW fan. i was also very impressed with how Sam Hornish Jr. handled his first big race. hopefully he'll take home ROY.

Way to go J. Gordon. You ruined another potential huge day for me by taking yourself and the #17 out.

Ditto, in a local pool here where we pick 3 drivers every week and keep a running total of points. 1st=43pts. , 2nd=42pts. etc... Had 17, 24, 88 this week and thought I was golden until that damned restart. :x

Nobody likes to see Jeffy get wrecked any more than me, but...

FaGordon said that wreck was the hardest of his career, and I believe that. 200 miles an hour straight, head-fucking-on into the wall, and there's no SAFER barrier on the inside walls at most tracks.

Watching it live at the time, I was afraid he might not walk away from that, and was actually very relieved to see that he did.

WAR the HANS device and the #3's lasting legacy, or that would've have been very bad.

Greg, I'll enjoy it as long as it lasts, and then some. In all the years we've been doing this going back to TNW, I've never led the standings at any point or even been close. I'd say something clever like "even a broken clock" and "the sun shines on a dogs ass", 'cept no, that's never actually happened.

We're in uncharted territory here. One in which I don't owe anybody reuben sammitches.

I pwn you bitches.

This is awesome, like shooting fish in a barrel, bwa-haha-ing at the #24 finishing dead last and dragging all the cherry picking teams (read: not me) down with him.

Nice week mrctm... you pulled to within all of 230 points. :P

As always, thanks Mac.

DF

i apologize.....that "D" was for War Wagon.

my bad.

as for week 1?

i fully expect that the Cowboys will have their #22 Pick in their starting line-up just because Brady Quinn isn't.

Derek Anderson will be either unconscious or pitching to the hot dog vendor.

its too early for this...so; motion to TABLE........

enjoy the spring/summer.
