and then we can all come back and ridicule them mercilessly after they don't play out, or pass out massive slices of 'bode if they do.

One per customer per post please.

Creighton over West Virginia...take this one to the bank fella's.

Edit: A 9 over an 8 seed is NOT an upset.

That crack is going to be mighty sweet when I exhale it as BODE, my friend.

Hell, this whole thing is a crapshoot. Any of the 4 seeds or higher have a decent chance of winning it this year. There are going to be upsets ... usually ones that none of the "experts" even have on their radar.

Iowa over Kentucky in the 2nd round. Pittsburgh over U-Dub in the 2nd round. UCLA over Gonzaga in the 2nd round. Southern Illinois over Okie St in the 2nd round. Florida over UNC in the Sweet 16.

I didn't pick too many 1st round upsets. Most of mine came in the 2nd round.

I've heard that BODE is far more important than money in here, moth. I couldn't care less who wins this game ... just think it's an upset candidate. You guys can pile on after Thursday if the game's not close.

There has to be a 5 - 12 upset every year.

I'll go with #12 UW-Milwaukee over #5 Alabama.

That assumes Pacific gets past the 1st round, addled.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

My 12-vs.-5 upset: George Washington over Georgia Tech (sorry, ACC peeps).

Also like Pitt over Washington in the second round.

Pittsburgh is a team i would not want to play.

they kind of like the good Temple teams used to be. if they control the tempo, you're inna dogfight.

Wisconsin over Kansas, second round.

Actually, if I were going for a #15 over #2, I'd take Chattanooga over Wake Forest. (Based on Wake's shaky start in the ACC tourney and UTC's past performance in the NCAA.)

Because you must be DRUNK, that's why! :)

Hells bells man, KU lost to the godforsaken shit team that I pimp for, and that has to tell you something.

Assuming the squawks even make it that far, they get rolled in the Sweet 16 by U-Conn.

I tend to think Kansas would take this match up.

You know Orc, I don't even know how to wytch up an AV. And quite honestly, with my move to SoCal next weekend my attendance here will be sparse at best. However, I am never one to back off from an insane bet, so you're on. Once I get settled into my new abode and back in the office (March 28th), than I'll take your sig bet for one week.

I know this isn't going to be pretty, but what the hell. I deserve a change of scenery.

Good start. I don't have any major upsets for today.

I do have UAB advancing to the Sweet 16, and, as much as I know they choke this time of year, Cincinnati beating Kentucky.
