Texas fans must be smiling...

Post by Cicero »

Perriloux's never been able to stay out of trouble. Now he's indefinitely suspended and he might go public w/ how he was able to afford to go to casinos and gamble the past three years. Him and his mom feel as if LSU needs them more than they need LSU.

they sour grapes Perriloux when they'd loved to have him. cue: Vito and his "Mack's Great Surpassing Ethics" routine when it has nothing to do with the Perriloux de-commit. and if anybody is gonna get burned by the Darrell Scott thing, it's UT getting cosy with Sonsini (not saying it happened, but it's a helluva lot more likely than the allegation/implication UT fan was tossing around 3 weeks ago--since Sonsini has been fired).

actually, UT fan ain't smiling: they lost to OU and Fran (for the second year in a row) last season.

Muschamp was a good hire, though. they'll be pretty tough next year if McCoy stays healthy and they find someone to tote the rock.

I believe that's referred to as "Division III football."

Since the re-naming of CFB's divisions last year I think D-3 is now "the settles it on the field" division.

No, Chase Daniel is laughing.

After Ryan P. ditched Tejas, Mack tried to get Chase to come to Tejas after Perriloux bolted. Chase said, "No Dice".

I thought he was a very good high school player. That being said, he is a total piece of shit as a human being. I for one was not bitter when he decided to "Holla LSU". My only anger was we let Chase Daniel get out of state. This is part of the reason that Mack doesn't leave the state much. He got burned with the last 3 biggies. Perriloser, The putz who will be backing up Tebone at Urban U, and now Darrel Scott. There are enough good players in Texas.

I find it fitting that Perriloux chose LSU. He's a skidmark on society and so are the fans of LSU.

Ricky Williams and Major Applewhite agree. ;)
As do Chris Simms, Bo Scaife, Lamar Houston, and Ben Alexander.

Mack didn't recruit Ricky or Major. They were Mackovic recruits. Funny thing.....JM could recruit other states. He did not recruit Texas for shit because all the HS coaches hated him.

i can remember looking at film on Perriloux.

his WR were 15-20 yards wide open. I said, then, that aint shit, everyone on this board can hit guys that wide open. I want to see him thread the needle or throw the perfect touch pass. He's proven, he wasn't shit, just a kid who could run, and hit wide open wr's. yipeee

tiz why most of those videos on recruits are garbage. They had a 260lb DT, who dominated a team, if ya looked, the other teams lineman together didnt weigh 260 if ya cominbed 2 of them together. How hard is it to dominate smaller, slower kids? I want to see the guy dominate the State champs, while he's on a mediocre team. Or dominate a higher rated kid, not hit 30 yard open WR. Big fuckin deal!

A lotta truth to that ^^^.

There's so many HS "highlight videos" of a kid catching a ball 40 yards downfield with his back to the goal line. Hit the fucker in stride if you want to call it a highlight.

Steven McGee is the perfect example. He was throwing jumpballs to Jordon Shipley in HS. McGee can hit just about and stationary target. He can't hit jack shit if it is moving.

Unless he is playing against the Texas secondary. I swear to god he has his best games against us. That being said, most QB's had career day against the Akina led defense. I think that changed under "BOOOOOMMMM, Muthafucker!"

This year, yes. He was unbelievable against t.u. with his throws. Last year, he beat t.u. with his legs. For every game not t.u. this year though, he was well below average with his throws.

The Muschamp hiring will definitley pay dividends, with him '07 would've been a different season. Too bad for the horns
that unless Mack is looking to retire in a few years Muschamp will be gone after one or two seasons to take a HC-job.
